Guys,
Alongside a couple of other xda members - dragosiordache & alexandru138 - have been working for the past 5 months on a new photo-sharing and matching app called Picup - Match your Photos.
The idea behind it is simple: connect with users anonymously by matching half photos. Main idea is to get interesting, fun connections with people by making two-photo collages from people that do not actually know each other. Let's call it the Tinder for thoughts, feelings and interests. All matched photos are then added to a gallery, available for rating by other users, again anonymously.
The app is already in Google Play and, while working on final touches regarding UX, design and functionalities, would love to hear your thoughts on what would need to be better served.
Can't add the link here, but look for "Picup - Match your Photos BETA" and you'll find it

We've just released the first beta version of our new app called DoodleCam. When you take a photo, it does a little processing in the background and then shows you your image, but with a twist. The app works best outside, as it looks for the sky and then inserts a doodle from the collection (currently a few monsters, robots, UFOs, etc) into the picture.
Our site at doodlec.am has a short video and will soon host our user-submitted gallery of excellent images.

This is a beta version, but everything should work for you. If it doesn't, let me know. Additionally, we've following MVP and therefore DoodleCam isn't feature complete. We'll soon be adding more features to let you control the doodle placement, pick from the selection, etc.
(note: I've only posted a few times on XDA and so I'm not allowed to post links. If someone would kindly post them for me that would be lovely. Thank you.)
Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Jacob

We've been busy this last week and have updated the app about 5 times, each time adding new doodles, new features and fixing bugs. DoodleCam is still in Beta mode as we're not feature complete nor positive that the app is stable everywhere, but with your help we'll expand the app and ensure stability.
We've gained just over 300 users during this last week, but few have offered their feedback. We know that our users want more doodles to choose from and more control over where the doodles go, and we're working very hard on meeting those two requests.
Is there anything else you'd like to see us implement? Does DoodleCam crash on your phone? Do you like our idea?
Thanks!!
cool application))
Hey Guys,
We're a new startup - WriggleApps.com - and we're getting ready to release our very first app... "What's This?"
We've tried to take the usefulness of photo sharing and combine it with the popularity of social turn-based games. The idea is simple: take photos, edit them using fun filters (such as blur, spin, pixellate etc.) and send them to a friend to guess "What's This?". You can earn coins by guessing photos correctly and use these coins to unlock new camera effects in the game.
We're hoping that this app will appeal to existing mobile photography fans and gamers, but we also believe that it might open up photo sharing to a younger audience who are looking for something a bit more fun.
Anyway, description finished. We're weeks away from launch on Android and are really looking to get some people playing now so we can receive feedback. We'd appreciate any help you can give! If you're interested and want to get your hands on a free copy before everyone else, sign up here: WhatsThisGame.com and we'll send you a copy.
Stay cool!

Hi! We just launched our mobile app "eskiis".
We came up with the idea one day when we realized there are Social Media Platforms where we can take and share images (Instagram, Pinterest), send short messages (Twitter, Facebook) or exchange sound-snippets (Soundcloud), but there is no easy way to share visual messages, like scribbles, in a simple and fun way.
On the other side, since the dawn of mankind, scribbles are the most important form of universal communication. Regardless of language, education or age, everyone understands them.
Please have a look at our website (eskiis dot com) or download the app on Google Play (search for eskiis).
We need your feedback, it is really important to us. If you have ideas or suggestions don’t hesitate comment please.
Thanks!

Note: this is not an endorsement by myself, just helping the poster.
Description
Yago is a fun and simple way to share the moments around you. Snap a photo or video, caption with text or add an emoji, choose your location and post it to the map! Everything posted to the map disappears after 24 hours!
You control where you show up on the map. We’ll never share your exact location. Only the location YOU choose – the place, the neighborhood, or the city you are in. Your post will live in one of those locations for 24 hours and then ‘poof’ disappears from the map and from our servers!
You control what’s public or private. Public posts can be seen on the map by the entire community. Private posts will only be seen by your mutuals – people that you follow and who follow you back
Have you ever been bored and wanted to see what your friends are doing or what’s going on around you? We’ll help you discover your friends and new places! Use our interactive map and browse around by either people or places and see what’s going on around you. Discover new restaurants, bars, or even a new nightclub. Stay connected with friends and our awesome community.
Create quality content and be engaged in your local community and help decide what’s best with anonymous voting. Upvote what you like, downvote what you don’t. Your votes help decide which pictures or videos get featured.
Start a conversation in the app by leaving a comment or mention a friend. All comments and mentions will disappear when the post expires after 24 hours.
What Yago users are saying:
“Love this app, it’s like snapchat without the bull. So much fun and it’s easy to use. Great work Yago!”
“24 hours and your photo goes away!”
“It’s like snapchat and Instagram all in one <3 I really love it”
“Combines the best of both worlds: snap and Insta. Very easy to navigate and understand definitely love this app! Thank you!!”
Please note: even though pictures and videos are deleted from the map and our servers after they expire, we cannot prevent users from capturing and saving by taking a screenshot or using an image capture device.
Hey XDA!
One of our users wondered why there wasn't a thread on XDA about our app Happening, so here I am starting exactly that
TLDR; join group 'XDA users': https://happening.im/t/AQTRKNJSM (join code 'AQTRKNJSM')
Happening is basically a (group) messenger, but unlike any you've seen before because of how it offers an ever growing selection of tools and games that can instantly be used by all:
Get to know your friends even better with the Ranking Game and see what they’re up to with Selfie Time
Have fun together drawing and guessing stuff with Sketchy, race each other taking themed photos to earn points in Photo Hunt
Organize a fun activity with the Event Planner and split any costs afterwards using Split The Bill
Those are really just a few of the possibilities the app offers - think of Happening as a "a messenger on steroids”
If you think this sounds interesting, I would love for you to come and have a look at Happening by joining a group with fellow XDA users. I'll be there as well:

Really hoping to see you there and very interested in any feedback you guys might have, thanks!
