I have tried to upgrade sony ericsssosn e16i mobile from 2.1 to 2.3 ,but after installing baseband ,when i turn on phone its coming Black screen
please help me with this

What is the safest way to install an exposed mod. Classic directly to my device. Recovery zip with a automatic flash. Recovery
write zip to sdcard and manually flash I'm a noob so please forgive my ignorance but i appreciate the knowlege given. Thank you.

[Completed] MT6572 ROM Porting Question

Hey guys,
So I am thinking of porting a custom rom for my MT6572 device which I am sure you have never heard of: QMobile A170. I already have it rooted using Farmaroot 1.9.3 (thankgod for generic tools) and seeing as there are no roms for this specific model out there, was thinking of porting one myself. So here are my queries.
1. Which ROM do you suggest I port (in terms of features, ui, stability and chance of success etc)? Where can I find an android 4.4+ rom? I only found one but it has an annoying dev picture everywhere: droidbuzzz.blogspot(dot)com/2014/10/mt6572-custom-rom-pure-l-custom-rom-for(dot)html
2. Which porting guide do i follow for MT6572 porting? there are alot of guides out there, and more alarmingly, with different steps and procedures.

3. Should I use a porting tool or something?
4 Any tips, wise words etc?

I found many guides on porting it to other devices, but not your device. I suggest a google search on "port lidroid to jellybean" and read over some of the guides.

But in SystemUI have not StatusbarService.smali and even i dont know where to add lidroid reference in which smalli file and also PhoneStatusbar.smali bit complicated from other android SystemUI PhoneStatusbar.smali

I am lookinig for Contacts.apk and ContactsProvider.apk (just in case) that would be compatible with Huawei G6-U00 Dual Sim. My phone came with lots of pre-installed contacts I cannot get rid of. Unfortunately, different Contacts apps which are on the market are not compatible.
I know that it's possible to extract an .apk file and share it. I extracted mine, but I don't know how to modify it so that it works after in install it back on my phone. I am not a developer
