I can say that if it's a system app, which it would be if it's pre-installed, you would need to be rooted first... Then you could easily uninstall it with something like titanium backup. But I can't find anything about rooting your device on XDA either.

I have a simmtronics xpad freedom tablet running on android 4.2.2 . unfortunately I uninstalled my mediastorage.apk app from the system by using link2sd app. So I'm having a lot of problem now like I cannot set ringtone, music player not working, camera functioning improperly. Please anyone help me to reinstall. I've the apk backup of the app but its not installing. It shows app not installed after showing installation popup.

Guys i am stuck. . My cell phone is xolo q2000l rooted.. . I uninstalled bloat watsapp app ... And tried to install plus but its not working it shows not installed. As u guys said i downloaded root explorer still no luck. .. Help me out
