[Q] Noob question about radios - HTC One S

Sorry for being dumb but... I'm running CyanogenMod version 10.2.0-ville on an HTC One S, flashed using CMW, and everything seemed to be working fine. The problem is that I don't get 3 or H, only G or E, and I think my APN settings are all correct. I think I may need to flash another 'baseband' or 'Radio'? (Sorry for showing my noobs...)
I'm on T-Mobile in the UK.
a) Is there a special radio I need to flash?
b) Can I flash it 'within' my existing ROM, or do I need a new ROM?
Model number: One S
Android version: 4.3.1
Baseband version: 1.11.50.05.28_10.27.50.08L
Kernel version: 3.4.11-g69442cc [email protected] #1 Wed Dec 11 20:17:51 PST 2013
CM version: 10.2.0-ville
Build number cm_ville-userdebug 4.3.1 JLS36I 5e6b787ae3
Network: T-Mobile
Mobile network type: GPRS
Any help?

Did you make sure your phone is for the network your current carrier uses?
For example, a T-Mo phone will work with AT&T but only in 2G, voice and text.

Also, you could try to upgrade your baseband version, I remember after switching carriers my data never worked until I upgraded my baseband

LG Optimus P999 issues

Hi,
I have had the LG Optimus P999 for almost a year, and I haven't bothered to update it yet(2.2.2). I got it from WindMobile, and I was wondering if by following this vid I could update it to 2.3.3 successively. I want to install a custom ROM, but they all seem to require at least 2.3.3.
Right now it is unlocked and rooted, also I am using a Fido SIM card.
Any thoughts?
Anyone?!
My P999 was also from wind and I did not update the firmwire to 2.3.3. I just installed clockwork mod and flashed in a newer MIUI rom. BTW how are you able to use a Fido Sim card on a wind mobile version of the Lg optimus 2x

Well to my understanding(which is limited) FIDO uses GMS on frequency 850MHz and 1900MHz, which this phone supports. But I hear that to get 3G on this phone I need to be on WindMobile or T-Mobile. I have data with FIDO and it shows at 2G (with two little arrows going up and down). Besides that I find it stupid the the LG Optimus 2X in Canada it is actually a LG Optimus G2X in the states (from what I have gathered).Anyways, how did you do the whole proccess of installing a new ROM, did you follow something similar to this ?
Idk if this would help, but here you go.

Are you just looking to install Gingerbread or do you also want to update the baseband? If you don't understand the second part of the question don't worry about it. In that case you just need to install clockwork mod recovery using NVflash and then install pretty much any ROM you want.
If you want to update the baseband you need to use the offline method. Search for it.

When I got my P999 from wind with stock Froyo, I rooted and CWM'd it within 5 minutes of getting it. Use the Nvflash guides to install CWM.. All should be fine.

I want to get FM radio on it, also can I get 3G on a FIDO network with this phone? How does the base band affect these two things?
Thanks!!

FM Radio is disabled Via Hardware on the P999. The P990 Has FM Radio but we don't. If you need FM, Use TuneIn radio, but you will need to have an internet connection. Since FIDO isn't Wind or Moblilicty etc, and our phone isn't a Pentaband phone, I don't think that you will be able to get 3G With the different radio that Rogers/Telus/Fido uses. Calls, Text, and 2G data will work fine, just not 3G.

[Q] My Samsung Galaxy SII LTE SGH-I727R needs help

Hi All,
I'm new for this forum and need some help if I could get someone in this forum know how to fix my problem.
Here is the story:
I bought an used SII SGH-I727R few months ago and it's unlocked. I have a plan under Mobilicity (Canada). everything was fine until last week when I decided to upgrade my android to Jelly Bean (and I did) and now I the phone doesn't work with my SIM card anymore (I borrowed my friend's SIM card under Telus to plug it in and it works!). Something telling me that I screwed my radio freq (band) settings.
Here is the old spec:
Android: 4.0.4
Baseband: T989DTLLE4
Kernel: 3.0.8
Build: IMM76D.UCLF6
PDA: I727UCLF6
CSC:I727ATTLF6
IC:649E-SGHI727
and here is the new spec:
PDA: I727RUXUMA7
Phone: I727RUXUMA7
H/W: Rev 1.0
RF call date: 2012.06.10
CSC: I727ROYAMA7
I did try a lot of radio zip file in this forum and use cwm to install them but none works, If someone here has experience and know exactly what I need to do to make my phone work with Mobilicity again, I would really appreciate or even bring back to the old version/setup will make me happy too.
Thanks in advance
