i used an app which i forgot name of it. it changed my contact pictures which i chose inside of app but now i forgot the name of app and my contact's pictures i can't changing. how can i change these absurd pictures to stock pictures back? do u know an app for change these pictures? i don't want to delete these pictures
by the way i think this about my google account cause pictures changing when i sing in my google account

yes i thought same thing and i was using xblast when i was on kitkat but not i can't use it coz of Lollipop. what will i do now? am i wait to xposed available ?
buddy you have another way also but its lagg you have to login to google acount via contacts and edit contacts image one by one

The app with this picture cant decompilation yet, need waiting of other version apktools.

Then you can go to Manage Contact List to select the affected ones and remove contact pics from those. Hope it helps!

Use the official Facebook app, it works better than friend stream. You can do the same with the official Twitter app.
I don't get how to do it with the facebook application. I messed around with it for a bit, but no avail. Any help?

Go to settings and make sure you have sync contacts enabled. The names /emails have to be similar, but you can always go the contact app, edit a contact and then use the join option in the menu to manually connect contacts.
Edit: this works better than Sense because now all apps that use contact syncing will now have that popup menu when you click on a contacts photo.

Sorry man, but Friend Stream is for HTC Sense frameworks, and won't work in CM6. But, if you purchase Launcher Pro Plus, then that launcher has a widget similar to friend stream (puts facebook + twitter stuff in one widget for ya).

Also as an fyi- you can go to any OTA rom, download and rip out any apk's you may want to try. All you need is winrar and you can extract the friendstream.apk file from system/app/ yourself

Use Launcherpro (http://www.launcherpro.com/. It has a widget that is the same as Friendstream.
How can i change the displayed username on googletalk? I want it to look like "Chad Petree" right now is displayed as "[email protected]"

I'm pretty sure you can't change that. People who are in your contact list can change how you show up (and you can change your buddy's display names), but you can't change you look in your client.

I dont get it :/ , could it be because i created my gmail account a long while ago and the displayed name was the whole email address instead of my name?

Its just not something you can customize. You can change how people on your list look but you can't change how you look, besides setting your profile picture.

i opened facebook app today and had a pop up asking me for adding my phone contacts to facebook.. but unfortunately, i canceled the process.. i noticed that i can sync my facebook account in the phone.. it seems that google finally reactivated that option again.. but the problem is that i don't find how to select the contacts to sync!!!
have anybody else noticed that new feature???

Was editing my post with the link just as you replied.
Yes i can confirm it's working again i just flashed factory images today,installed facebook and facebook account was added in accounts & sync in setting i just activated it and everything worked.
Does it grab high res pics?

Well, the account shows up, under accounts & sync in the phone settings, but I don't think it's actually syncing the contacts. None of them are showing up for me in the people app.

neither me.. i haven't seen any of my facebook contacts in the people app.. actually i didn't found The way to sync.. i regret canceling the process when the facebook app requested me sync..

You didnt use the app I suggested? It shows fb contacts in the people app for me.
And the sync option of facebook was always there for me but it never worked.

Uhm... personally I don't like these limitations:
IMPORTANT:
* Facebook does not allow to export phone numbers or emails. Only names, pictures and statuses are synced.
* Facebook users have the option to block one or all apps. If they opt for that, they will be EXCLUDED from your friends list.

What is strange here is if you go to the Album app and select Settings/Cloud Accounts and press Add account it only lists (on my G3) Box and Google, nothing for any other cloud accounts.
If there is a way to add other accounts from the G3's main Settings/General tab/Cloud then please pass on how to.
Again the only accounts listed are a Box and Dropbox, why just these two!

My bad... I meant the Gallery app which when opened says 'Albums'

sorry I didn't know we were talking about the camera app, I have the same version camera as you. my gallery is 4.21.18, and I'm using an ATT US phone, I would be interested to see if installing your gallery will work and give me the cloud storage options

Click on Facebook. If you don’t see Facebook in the list of accounts it is likely that you haven’t yet added your Facebook account to your Android Accounts – tap on the option at the bottom of the screen and do so now.
Select the “Sync contacts” option

well this phone is not htc tho.. no chain.. u need to go back to htc if u missin chain icon..

All android phones have this link manually icon
it will automatically merge if the name is exactly the same across multiple accounts... however, i have never found manual merge in MT7. hopefully they will close the gap in lollipop.
