I use drony for my college wifi and browsers including chrome, UC and default browser of mi works well but when I use mobile data everything works except browser. Having a hard time to solving this issue. Can you please help?
Maybe try to use only ipv4 for mobile data. There should be apn setting where you can specify not to use ipv6.
Maybe it will help.

Is it anything to do with Orange Italy blocking some sites? Or, if you're connecting over WiFi, can you verify your WiFi is working correctly?
I have no problems with any of the sites I goto on both WiFi and 3G
Ok I changed some APN settings and it works fine
I wonder what was wrong....
But thanks!
My web browsing just stopped working. Data is fine, all internet-using applications work normally, but the browser (all browsers, tested on Opera, Dolphin, and Stock) refuse to load any webpage at all. Internal server error, dolphin says the user agent was refused access. Changing the user agent does nothing.
On CM7 stable.
Is this with WI-FI Or phone data Or both???

reflash your rom.
I tried searching for this problem on Google, but the only solution I came across was either by browsing gmail in classic or desktop mode on stock browser. I can't seem to delete a gmail email in mobile version. when I press the trash icon to delete an email, the icon turns blue to indicate that it has been pressed, but then it doesnt reload the page or delete anything. it just hangs..
since I am a frequent gmail user, I use dolphin browser instead, which works fine, but I still want to know what's causing the problem with stock browser. btw I don't use gmail app. my issue here is accessing gmail on stock browser.
thanks in advance!
edit: I am on stock btw.
am I the only one with this glitch? plz help
I dont have that issue but then again i use k9 email app. When i have used gmail via a browser on the phone i use chrome and dont have a issue

The app is far easier, I've found.
Nonetheless, I tested the stock browser and it does not actually delete any gmail items that I select when in mobile browsing mode. Works fine in Opera, though. I use Opera because it acts more in line with my expectations from a UI standpoint and rewraps text on zoom.
So, it's a stock browser bug, I'd think.

alright. thanks for clearing that up. I can't believe how Google's android stock browser has such glitch with gmail, which is also Google.
this is practically the main reason why I'm using dolphin instead. hope it gets fixed eventually.

I think google doesn't want us to deleted emails. Have you ever tried deleting your
email from the gmail website after not doing it fora few months? OMG! ITS crazy. First you can only do it 10 at a time and there may have hundreds or more, and each 10 take several clicks it can take hundreds of clicks! But if that's not bad enough if you want to completely delete them you have to do it all over again to delete them from the history and again from the trash.
Any reason you choose to use the browser over the app?

Hi,
Is there anyway to set the VPN for specific apps. VPN works great, but I only want to use it for mail or a specific browser so that I can get my work email through the VPN and use the phone as normal for everything else.
Cheers
I have an Android phone and tablet (see my signature for models), both of which I use at home on my home WiFi network and at college, which uses a proxy server on their network to censor websites and whatnot. I can connect fine to the college's network through a web browser, but the applications on either of my devices cannot seem to connect using the pre-configured proxy settings. These applications include the Play Store, Yahoo! Mail, and various other applications that needs to sync. I have noticed that whenever I open a web browser on my Android devices, a popup box prompting me for my network Username and Password, and I have to press "Log In" to connect to the network.
So my question is this; is there a way to tell my apps to use the proxy settings and my username/password to connect to the network?
(I have yet to try an application called ProxyDroid - it looks like it will work, but I will have to try it tomorrow to see. It might have some problems working on JB 4.2.2.)
Use proxy droid....
It wld surely help u...
if it's helping you it must be thanked.

ProxyDroid doesn't work in 4.2.2, unfortunately.
Hi,
You should try Drony or SandroProxy

I am experiencing the same problem when I connect to my office LAN and can seem to find where I can add the Proxy settings in my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 P5200 running 4.2.2. Has anyone found a solution to this please?
