Hello guys ,
My nexus 5 is facing some issues . Whenever i try to start it , It get stuck on the Team win screen in the beginning and it keeps appearing again and again . I am unable to start my phone . i tried to do ( volume down + volume up + lock button ) .. It switched off the phone .. but when i started it .. it again came to the same screen and again teamwin is appearing again and again . I dont know what to do . i was just unlocking the oem lock when this happened . Now i just want to get to the default factory settings .. please help me i am very scared and helpless .. Any helps would be great .. Thank You very much ..
You don't need to be scared about anything. All you have to do is restart the phone in bootloader and make a fresh install of factory image via fastboot.

Google 15 second adb install xda. Install that on your pc. Then download the factory image and extract it. In there you'll find a flash-all.bat. Boot your device into the bootloader and with it attached to your pc simply double click on the flash-all.

Hi there all xda developers
1 year ago i bought a new phone from ebay out of china, i buyed it there because it was a littlebit cheaper. Only problem some firmware is in chineese
When i removed the android email program, my phone didn't want to start anymore up.. it just stays restarting.
After hours of googling i needed to bootunlock my phone.. Didn't want to work.. stucked hours on that because it was already boot unlocked.
Proberbly illigal software or something..
Now its boot-unlocked and my phone is S-On
I would like to install new firmware/software that working right because my google play was also always getting error's
So i can't start my phone up..
I can get in fastboot screen
My recovery doesn't work, it stays stucked in my HTC whitescreen
Also factory reset doesn't work, stays also stucked at whitescreen.
Can any xda-developer help me with this problem and leading me to a way so i can install correct software?
I search for hours at forums and google, but i can't get out of it
I hope you guys can help me as soon as possible because i can't make any calls now.

Did you flash any recovery like CWM or TWRP using adb fastboot etc. via your PC? Or did you try to flash any stock or custom rom??

No i didn't use CWM or TWRP. When i use command fastboot i can see my device but when i use ADB he can't find it. I will try the clockwork mod recovery, you will hear from me if that works.
<----some time later----->
Okey nice i downloaded a recovery and used the command fastboot flash to get the recovery to it.
now i have a english recovery mode on.
Does anyone has good firmware/software that i can install from my sd so my phone is working good again?
Thanks so much,
Greatings, Josse Kuhlmann
Well now it's up to you to decide which rom do you want, I'm pretty happy with mini cm10. But there is a lot to choose from, so it's up to you

I installed windows 7 on my phone. But the only problem i stays rebooting.
I formatted /boot and /factorysettting and now it is directly going to fastboot menu.
I searched for a boot.img but i couldn't find it. Does anyone has a link to a bootimage so i can fastboot that and that my phone is booting correctly?
Thanks much for help!
I really don't get what you have done, just try reflashing the rom if it goes to recovery, if not just install recovery again. Try to explayne it with a bit more details.
And just a tiny question, what did you installed?
In Hboot i cannot get to recovery or factory reset , it restart my mobile. I tried to put cyanogenmode and after TWRP and it got all wrong. Help pls . I am new into this .

Calm down and think over what you are doing because I was once in same predicament once and by me panicking I just made the problem worse and it took me longer to fix a simple problem.

hello'!!
i have a micromax a066 running android 4.4.2 kitkat'!!
i have rooted my device using kingo root. now i am unable to unlock bootloader of my device. after pressing power+vol.up+vol.down button (recovery mode) the bootloading option doesn't appears. The recovery mode have option of updating rom(which stucks at half), setting up backup n rest. even though m unable to unlock bootloader through windows command prompt. Using the CP m able to start my device at fastboot mode but, it stucks in the 2nd step. that is unlocking. please help'!!
Probably it means that your bootloader is unlocked already just check it.

no. it isn't
the device reboots and the black screen with"fastboot mode" appears after giving the first command. But after giving the second command it doesn't moves ahead, I mean the confirmation message doesn't appears in which we are supposed to select yes or no by pressing volume up and volume down key. So, evrytime i try to unlock bootloader i use to stuck at that black screen and left with no choice but unplugging the device and taking out the battery. After i unplug my device the command prompt shows up a message, somewhat like this- "error <source<too many links>"
:/ please help...
In recovery there should be an advance option inside that you have reboot to bootloader option.

1) reboot system now
2)apply update from adb

Ok.
You must be using adb oem unlock command to do that previously.
In fastboot mode

Yea you got it man.
Every device is different so their custom roms also.
Do install those roms which are made for your device.

hmm... thanx for the help buddy'!!
but this device is not so famous so the ROM's are not available even at the XDA-DEVELOPERS
but next time i'll make sure that i'm buying a famous one'!!
actually... i was planning to buy a "HTC Desire 826"
in next few days.. so i decided to learn rooting, flashing n all other techniques in this BOLT'!! so that i'd have less risk while flashing HTC but it cannot be done now'!!
any was thanx for the help'!! ^_^
Your bolt is not waste just find a person having same device and if he is roited say him to make a nandroid backup of his rom on your sd card and done. Take your sd card and restore from that. Your device will work like a new set and you will have both the sets
I have a Oneplus One here and tried to install a rom onto it after wiping everything.
When I plug it in the charger it goes to recovery, when I reboot to bootloader it does the same, after flashing too.
How can I recover it?
Did you install TWRP or CWM ? If so try another rom , if not read up on adb and install custom recovery first and find out if your bl is unlocked , if not start there , theres alot of reading you need to do

I have TWRP. I had a rom installed so the bootloader is unlocked. All the guides suggest fixing it via fastboot but I cannot access that.. I think the partitions are messed up...

Hey I think you have same problem as me. It's the volume button. It's stuck at Volume - (down). So every time you start your phone, it think you want to go to Recovery. What I did was, I tap the phone little hard on my hand sideways when I boot it up. That unstucks the volume button.
It works for me but not sure if it is the correct way. Just a suggestion. Don't hold me responsible if it breaks anything else.

Did you have a backup of the previous rom (if one) that would save you the trouble, if not , adb

thank you so much for your help.somehow i got it back up and running
Had the same happen to me. It didn't want to go into recovery gave a message it failed. With some patience I manged to get the button combo to work for fastboot then did a flash-all of the factory image. I think the trick was it had to be plugged in to get to download mode and I think you may hit the power button slightly before the volume down. It was a bit tedious. I tried to recover the boot.img and that trashed things up worse, got no google loading logo or something odd. Anyhow flashing the full factory image fixed things!
Glad you got it resolved, maybe this helps someone else in the same spot.
