Constant SystemUI FC on XT1022 devices
Not able to recieve SMS
Installation instructions so If installing for the first time:
To install this ROM you will need to have an unlocked boot loader and a custom Recovery such as TWRP or ClockWorkMod installed
Copy the downloaded AOSB to your phone.
update recovery, is required for install android kitkat
Boot into your recovery
Back up your ROM
Enter recovery
Make full wipe "included "system"
[*]Select Recommended kernel for first install
Install the ROM
install GAPPS package - download it from here
Reboot - the first boot can take up to 2 minutes
Recommended to Reboot again after ROM is up for the first time
2 second to up ! and 1 second to restart or shutdown ! it is AOSB
NOTE: THIS ROM IS WORKING ON ANY SINGLE SIM VARIANT OF MOTO E. DUAL SIM USERS WERE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE LOGCAT, SO SORRY FOR YOU, BUT I CAN'T HELP YOU FURTHER WITHOUT IT. IF ANYONE IS ABLE TO PROVIDE ME LOGCAT, PM ME AND I'LL FIX THAT ISSUE.

I'm using it till yesterday and if you use Greenify to hibernate some apps like Whatsapp, Facebook, etc. then the battery life is awesome!

Okay, thank you for testing. Will fix that in the next build!
Seems like Dual SIM isn't applied on the Statusbar. Because on mine it is working fine, as I'm using XT1021 which is single SIM(no FC obviously). It is fixable! Need to do some research.

Halo & Multi-window can't be enabled at the same time. Watch the video in the OP to see how to use Multi-window.
Be default Multi-window is enabled to enable Halo got to Settings ---> Halo and MultiWindow

HW Composer not used in landscape
screenrecord does not work
FM Radio does not work (you can use SpiritFM, but I'm not providing support for any problem)
Stock browser does not use hardware acceleration (Please use Google Chrome)

Does not work on 4.1 stock ROM's bootloader, please upgrade to 4.2 before flashing
Not really a bug but bootanimation is not made for our device so will apply oversized

Here are some minor issues I found:
1. When you remove the search bar from screen and then you want to remove widget or icon the "remove area" is not shown.
2. In the first 1-2 hours when I flashed it when long pressed Tiles from the status bar the phone didn't freeze. Now it's freezing on long press as CM 11.
Otherwise, I confirm that this is great ROM with more functions. Fast and stable!

1. It's the Launcher3 issue I think. You can use a custom launchers like Nova, Apex.
2. I don't have that problem. Can you logcat when it happens?

Be sure you unlocked your bootloader
first time only
1- power off the phone:
2- hold vol+ and plug usb to boot into fastboot (blue led)
3- fastboot flash boot boot.img (from aosb zip)
4- fastboot reboot
5- enter recovery, on boot press volume up 2 times
6-Wipe /System , and Do Factory Rest
7- flash rom (link in post #1 ) zip
8- flash gapps (link in post #1 ) zip
9- reboot
10-enjoy

Good morning, I have a problem with the play store (Error 491)
I tried doing the following, but still gives me the same error, I installed gapps micro:
We must close the Google account Assigned to the device.
Reboot the device into recovery mode.
Within the recovery and then select wipe Dalvik Cache and Cache.
Reboot.
And get back to our Google account.
Also try this, but I got the same error:
Delete your Google account on your device (Settings> Accounts> Google), then restart your Android and re-add the account you deleted.
In Settings> Apps> All> Google Services, click Clear data and Force stop.
Also try downloading the update from the rom gapps itself brings in updates, but the phone stays frozen.
The installation of the rom I made starting from 0.

Installation instructions so If installing for the first time:
This step is very important. Before downloading this ROM download and install Philz recovery from here
Install this recovery and then proceed to next step
Copy the downloaded AOSB to your phone.
Boot into your recovery (use latest version of Philz or TWRP)
Back up your ROM
Enter recovery
Make full wipe "included "system"
Install the ROM
install GAPPS package - download it from here
Reboot - the first boot can take up to 2 minutes
Recommended to Reboot again after ROM is up for the first time

how is battery life and ram consumption?
Ram management is good though when more than 5 apps are open it starts to lag.
I got GTA SA in it works lagless
But yes
Same as cm11 those unexpected battery drops are present but are quite rare

Yes I did! I'm signed into my Google account too and I tried hitting the sync button over and over again.. Nothing seems yo work! Reflash gapps? Edit: I used the cm11 gapps link (4.4.3) but that has nothing to do with it no? :S

Flashed new gapps and reflashed ROM also bro. It didn't work. I manually exported .vcf file from gmail and imported the contacts from SD card.. Something mustbbe wrong with the Google servers thanks for the ROM. Super smooth, too fast to handle xD cheers

I think its big size of gapps file which you installed after ROM....
Try small size like 84mb of gapps file...

1. Copy the downloaded AOSB to your phone.
2. Boot into your recovery
3. Back up your ROM
4. Enter recovery
5. Make full wipe "included "system"
6. Install the ROM
7. install GAPPS package - download it from here
8. Reboot - the first boot can take up to 2 minutes
9. Recommended to Reboot again after ROM is up for the first time

Yeahh, the rom boots up but com.Bluetooth and com.systemui has stopped keeps popping up.. Can't even get past the set up at the beginning..
(I remember another ROM had this exact same issue some time ago.. Don't really remember which one though.)

Try to install stock rom v3 via spflash tool then install this.. and let me know after that..

Mobile data doesn't work.. Only WiFi.. Realized when I came to work and was forced to restore my backup also gooogle sync doesn't work.. Must manually restore contacts.. Don't know what other bugs, but the screen froze a couple of times.. Other than that aosb is the fastest, smoothest rom we have.. Back to cm11 though :crying:

No, network is extremely unstable and I can confirm that data is not working. Also, the mic has a problem. I applied mic patch but the mic doesn't work flawlessly. Try sound recorder with and without mic patch.

Note that mic works well in all other CM roms except this one. What could be the reason? Maybe you can fix it.

To turn on mobile network go to settings>Multi Sim>Configure subscriptions and tick sim 1.
I can use the internet now.
There as few small bugs like dsp manager force closing each time a new song plays.. But you got to admit AOSB is the epicest ROM ever! Love it!
