[Completed] [Q] Android Architecture showing Firmware Boundaries - XDA Assist

Hi
I have seen nice pictures, layerd diagrams of the Android system. What I miss on allthis diagrams is a boundry defining the components in this layered architecture diagram belonging to a firmware upgrade, i.e. JellyBeans to KitKat, which has recently turned of our WLAN capability. Now we look to find a way back to Jelly Beans.
Can you provide such a layered architecture diagram in XDA forums / documents ?
Josef

[Completed] [Q] Connecting to a LivePro Projector via Bluetooth?

Greetings!
I have a LivePro projector that has Android 4.2.2. I am looking for a connection program that will allow me to share my phone and/or tablet screen with the device via Bluetooth so I can make presentations using my phone or tablet (both Android), without relying on an independent network, just Bluetooth. it does not need to be a two-way communication, just a presenter and one or more viewers.
I know that there are many LivePro users that would greatly in this solution.
This solution would also benefit users that would like to share their phone screen in small presentation groups of 2 to 4 to even 6 to the attendees phones or tablets.
Thank you in advance for any of your suggestions!

[Completed] [Q] Is it possible to get microphone specs / infos within an Android app ?

Hello,
This is my first question (searched for the answer but did not find !) and I hope I'm posting at the right place.
I'm currently working on an Android app, and I would like it to be able to get access to the microphone sensitivity or at least model / reference.
I found a bunch of applications on the play store which can tell almost everything about built-in cameras / sensors etc. but nothing concerning the microphone.
I get a feeling that this info may be somewhere in /dev but can't manage to get to it.
Thanks a lot !

[Completed] ePoS system running on Android and connect to another Android device instead of a...

Hi all
I've got a little food truck coming together and was looking at installing an ePoS.
There are many companies out there offering hardware and apps but not quite what im looking for.
I'd like to use an Android as a waiter/ cashier device and then send the order to the kitchen's Android device. Currently looking at using 2 Samsung S2 9.7 devices. The normal setup for all ePoS apps that I've found is that you can have a cashier/ waiter android but the order is sent to a BT printer or through a server to a standard EPSON (or similar) thermal paper printer.
i'm pretty sure that what i'm looking for is readily available but i'm not "feeling lucky" in my Google searches.
I don't want the added hardware like barcode scanners and card swipers. Just a couple of food orders from one tablet to the next.
If anyone can lead me in the right direction, I'd be truly grateful.
