Recent apps is not like Stock Xperia Style..Don't know what's the problem..I've contacted other devs..Will fix that bug soon...
Deodexed the ROM then flashed the zip but I'm getting "User interface has stopped" everytime
(hope you get what I'm trying to say, my english isn't very good)

Wait I'll review the problem and let you know..
EDIT:I've flashed stock ftf again and flashed STRYDER-ROM again and it's working fine without any fc.. I've confirmed this from other users also.. They're not getting any fc.. Try reflashing the rom again...

Tried it too and didn't work
Flashed the stock ftf, rooted and installed CWM, then deodexed the ROM and flashed your zip and got the same "user interface has stopped".
EDIT: Tried again and it works! I think Xposed was the problem. Thank you!

Yes the Xposed messes with the SystemUI.. Better install it after the installation of rom..

Flash ftf and follow all the steps word by word ..First flash ftf ..root it ..then install cwm recovery ..then deodex ..then flash Z3-STRYDER ROM zip..

Recent panel doesn't have clear all button...You can switch between apps but can't close it manually.. You'll have to use any RAM cleaner app or xposed module Recent app cleaner for now..

make sure you uncheck "Download with Dev-Host Download Manager"

Try one more time..Flash stock ftf..Root it..Deodex it...Then Go into recovery..Flash Z3-STRYDER ROM zip..Wipe cache partition..Then after dalvik-cache
..Then reboot..Done!

Use universal cf root by amit.bagaria.. It is for every gingerbread firmware.
You will find the thread in the android development section.
Just follow the instructions and ur device is rooted.

There are many custom roms available in the development thread.
And deodexing; it is simple.. The .apk are stored in our device with a .odex file too and it cant be modified.
But after deodexing!! You can apply themes, and other stuff mod. Is possiple.
To deodex use .zip files by ganeshbiyer in the development thread!!

My device is finally rooted AND deodexed !
how do i apply themes ? i have downloaded one from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1405555&page=7 so do i install it just like any other app ? how do i go back to the stock theme afterwards ?
Also, PLEASE tell me how do i flash ROM's ?

First thing is it should be compatible with ur firmware!!
If yes then flash it using CWM as flash zip from sd card..
To revert back you should make a backup using CWM!

Miui is not rom specific!!!
You can flash XXKPQ then flash MIUI!.
Its not like you can only install it on 1 rom, it itself is a rom which when flashed removes old rom.
Ypu can flash MIUI if you want...

I mean to say that you can have MIUI in ur i9003!!!!
Just think of MIUI as another firmware(we call it rom)
You can flash it in CWM
Just download MIUI put it in ur external sd go to CWM flash it as a zip and you are done...
No need to flash xxkpq or anything else
And pls do read that at the moment some things do not work in MIUI(you can read it in the first post of MIUI) so do not ask about them as those queries will not be entertained

Your post title is misleading Edit the post title to DDKP3 which is the latest,
the pda version determines the gingerbread version which is ddkp3 only there is no ddkp4 pda as of now.
Your post when googled will show wrong info thus misleading 1000s of people who will keep on searching for DDKP4.

I am on ddkp3 i have download vurrut kernel v2 and JP MIUI V8.5, am i ready to go now ?
i am currently on a custom rom with amit bagaria CF root and deodexed (thanks to rohan !)

Yes you need data wipe and dalvik wipe. Updating miui just wipe cache. U juz nid cf root. Pls learn to read and search in the appropriate threads before asking

Just make a backup using CWM.(recommended)
And if you need apps to be restored then make backup using titanium backup.
And then you r ready to go!
Just factory reset,wipe catche,dalvik catche,battery stats.
Then go to recovery and flash as install zip from sd card.
No need to flash vurrut kernel as it is included in v8.5!!!

For restoring apps:
again install titanium backup.
And then u will be able to restore!!

Flash uc kernel v9 and just restore the backup u made using CWM.

U need to flash the kernel you made the backup with and restore from there. Or just do a clean flash. No, no update.zip. Before I play around with my phone I do a lot of research beforehand. You should too.

- why the stock rom isn't installed when the device is s-on

download ruu
extract rom.zip from it. (search how on google)
use android kitchen to build rom.
move fonts folder from any custom rom to /system in your new rom.
move meta-inf folder from any of this custom roms inside your new rom. (replace existing).

Hi here is 100% deodexed files for Xperia L. It should work for C2104/5 i don't have this device yet so it is not tested so try at your own risk There should be no problems though.
Requirements
-Rooted Stock Rom
-Clockworkmod Recovery (If you don't have CWM for locked bootloaders yet then try flashgordon app here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250555 This app is in an early stage but works great just make sure you have busybox installed to system/xbin.
CWM Installation Instructions
1) Download zip to root of sdcard (not in a folder)
2) Boot into CWM
3) Wipe cache partition & dalvik cache
4) Install my deodex zip from sdcard
5) Reboot & enjoy and maybe press thanks if it works

Flash gordon Instalation Instructions
1) Download & install Flash gordon & make sure you have busybox installed /system/xbin
2) Download zip & place on root of sdcard
3) Open flasgordon check wip cache & wipe dalvik cache boxes. Then click the select zip icon
use one of the file browsers to fin the zip.. then click flash.
4) Then when its finished you will see an icon in the notifacation draw to reboot click it then after reboot your all done.
(Note if at the end flash gordon force closes just take out the battery then replace it. you will get a pile of force closes which is normal just reboot or take out the battery.
Note Flashgordon Has Not Been Confirmed To Work So Try At Your Own Risk

Its for both bro the only difference between the 2 are they have different basebands which it wont effect Sorry i will not develop a rom for a device unless i have it in my hand. I am trying to save up for one but its really slow going a donation scheme for me to buy the device will help me get it Quicker Plus im working om CM for locked bootloader for XJ which i could do for XL as well if i had one.

Bro, i got an error while flashing with flashgordon. It said "The package you selected is not a valid flashable zip!" I was tried to delete whitespace in the name of the zip package, i also tried to shorten the name of the zip package but its not working to me

i want to say i never getting proper working camera with miui rom...actually it is the best rom & u people taking efforts to give us better experience of mob technology...i dont know or cant understand what i m making wrong while installing miui

Please flash Philz recovery 6.57.9 - cwm 6.0.5.1 based form here
use sp flash tool for flashing
backup ur current rom on sd card and internal both (for safty)
wipe data, format system
flash MIUI now
try if camera working
if yes continue using it
if not
goto recovery
flash attached file
now try if camera working (also check other things like wifi BT sd card)
if working continue using it:laugh:
if still not working just restore ur previous taken backup
Please report every step and its results as soon u try:good:

Yes I know this issue and already mentioned it here.
I never faced such issue so i dont know the exact workout.
so u on KK base rom.
u flashed philz recovery (please confirm only recovery or uboot and boot.img provided with it)
then u backed up ur kk rom.
wipe data, format system
flash miui rom
booted but no camera working.
Have u tried flashing the uboot given in above post. (JB uboot)
I am asking u whole procedure cause if i want to find a definite solution i need to know what things are lacking.
i hope u got my point.

So my request to u is try flashing first JB uboot.zip from recovery and then flash MIUI rom and try for camera.
If not working then try flashing uboot.bin given with philz recovery.
I know its not easy to try but i cant do it as i dont get this issue.

Kitkat based MIUI is not yet released for all devices except xiaomi devices.
As soon as it is released i wil port it to our device:good:

Yes just flash uboot.img of jellybean.
AS the name implies this is a stock rooted Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM!

Notes:
Should update bootloader. It is attached as a ZIP file but is not flashable! You need to fastboot flash it. For those in windows I have batch file in there along with ADB and fastboot.
First boot is a loooooooooooong time! About 5 to 7 minutes!
You must be on TWRP 2.8.1.0 for this ROM to Flash properly!
Troubleshooting
If you get no status bar reboot to recovery and clear all cache. If that doesnt work try flashing the factory image then flash TWRP again and then this ROM.
Getting Symlinks failed during install? Make sure /system is unchecked in TWRP mounts
Problems with internal storage? Look at THIS POST for fix by @freakzapster
Root doesnt work for a specific app? Contact the App developer. Do not post about it in this thread.

Thats why I created a batch file. You simply unzip it and double click. You dont have to be familiar with it. I took care of that already. If you stil cant figure it out then start a thread in the Q/A forum.

Factory Stock ROMS always have Gapps. This is what google pushed so you can be sure that there are Google apps on the Google ROM for the Google Device. This is not AOSP like my prior ROM. This is pure Google heaven!

Then download the android SDK for alternative operating systems then type in the commands you see in the batch. Or... Google for your specific OS.

Make sure /system is not mounted in TWRP
Make sure the MD5 Sum matched
Try it from internal storage.
