I was wondering which phone to buy, and I'm in love with the Nexus 5. But the Nexus 6 has also come in the market and there are other options, but somehow my eyes are stuck on the N5. Should I go for it? Is it worth the buy?
And while searching over the internet i found moto x 2 nd gen to be a great option but somehow i still like the elegnant look of nexus 5,
But since it has been discontinued, will this be a problem is future?

Ask in the device suggestion thread instead in future. I personally would say the N7 is better for me but you need to give a lot more info on what you want and how you're going to use it before any valuable info can be given to you.
If you want to have assle-free updates right at day one, go Nexus.
Also, installing custom roms and stuff is way easier.
I would pick the Kindle Fire HD for the simple fact that you get more bang for your dollar.

I bought the HTC One yesterday, I got a good deal cut price of £210 I'm in the UK (London). I previously had the Nexus 4, but I wanted something better looking, this phone certainly fits the bill. I posted on the suggest device thread before, most recommended the HTC One a week ago.
Today, I'm reading some threads in the HTC One section and it looks scary the amount of problems all kinds people are experiencing.
What is the root of all these problems? Is it to do with custom ROMs? I'm a simple user, I've never used anything but default/STOCK what the phone comes with.
The phone is still brand new. Should I sell it next week, get my money back and buy a Nexus 5?
If I don't update to 4.4.2 will it be safe to use?
Please advise, asap, thanks.

If you don't mod your phone, it's unlikely you'll run into any of the problems people here talk about. Get the Nexus 5 if you want it, but don't sell the One just because people have a lot of problems with it. It's a really great device and you just bought it so not really worth it.

I'm going to buy a new phone at the end of the month and I've always thought the nexus 5 looks great and appears to be great in performance.
But it's been a while since it has gotten released and I wonder if I should still buy it.
Are there other phones which are well built and have great performance, ofcourse in the same price range.
Currently I can buy the Nexus 5 for €360, seems like there's no other phone that can match this price with it's performance.
So my question is should I buy it, or get another flagship?

You ask in the LG G3 section, for example, and they'll recommend the LG G3. Same goes for any other device section if you were to ask.

@OP: The only better phone that I see in the price range for you is the one plus one. But you need an invite to get one so it's a pain to get one. If I were you, I'd put in more money & buy an m8 (I don't give a damn about the camera).. Probably a GPE m8.

Still rocking the Nokia 3310. Currently on PA with Elemental X kernel. Combo makes this phone fly. Btw, the boot up time is incredible. Not sure if it's the kernel, but it boots up in 2 seconds!

What can i do with a Nexus 5 that i can't do with the newest coming phones like the New Moto X or the Z3 Compact?
What is its unique features that i can do only with it? (I speak about particular mod/tweaks that change the experience of the phone)
Now is there some mod/fix for the duration of the battery and for a better camera experience?

Another useless thread.. We've already made our decisions.. haven't we? That's why we are on the Nexus 5 forum and everyone will suggest you to get a Nexus 5. If you ask the same question in the HTC One section, they'll suggest you to get the m8 and so on.. I really don't see any point in these threads at all.
The areas where nexus devices will always be ahead of others are Timely&latest Updates and tons of development!
Surf other device's forums.. then search some more and make up your mind. If I were you, I would wait for the next nexus since this phone's already 10 months old.

I am looking to replace my Tab 2 with a new tablet in the 9 to 10 inch range. This time around I want to be sure it has support from the ROM development community and is a good performing device before I buy it. I definitely don't want to be stuck with another device like this one where we got root but nothing else ever happened. I'd prefer something with SD card support but with enough internal storage that isn't mandatory. I'm considering the HTC Nexus 9 but I'd like to hear some opinions from tablet owners.
