Hello everyone,
My girlfriend was playing with her phone, and accidentally deleted almost 2,000 pictures from the ATT GalaxyS4, which of course were not backed up.
I tried looking for various data-recovery tools, but they all require a rooted phone. I tried to root it with the Kingo app, and using towelroot, but both failed. I am aware you can also do it downloading an older firmware, with the help of Odin, then using towelroot, then flashing with the NJ4 firmware again, but I am afraid using this method will eliminate or overwrite any trace of the invisible "deleted" photos still left on the internal memory.
Does anyone have any suggestions / ideas on how to safely either root this phone, or restore the photos?
Appreciate any reply/info/help. I have spent hours looking into all this and am pretty new to it, all to no avail.
Thank you
Hi,
I would say the best thing you can do is register on XDA and ask the experts who own your device for help, here,
> AT&T, Canadian Bell, Rogers, Telus, Virgin Samsung Galaxy S 4 > AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Stupid Questions Thread - No question too stupid!
Good luck!

Ok guys, im not sure if this is the right thread, but I have a sprint gs4 (SPH-L720) and I need to know some things about it before I root it and flash a different Rom. The last phone I rooted was an HTC evo 4g, so you can see that its been awhile since Ive done this lol. I am currently experimenting with using my gs4 as a wifi-only phone. I have NO phone service right now on my gs4. I want to know if my phone is a 9500 or 9505 and I want a ROM that has a boatload of new features, like call recording, wifi call/texting support, no bloatware, but I also do not want to lose any of the native features that stock 4.4 has. Can some kind person out there help me with my model number (i9500 or i9505?) so I wont brick my phone and give me a list of some awesome ROMs to choose from? sorry if this is the wrong thread, this is my first time on this forum. Thanks for the help guys.

Hey,
I recently got an android phone, the at&t galaxy S3 (with 4G LTE, not sure if this matters). And after originally rooting it with towel root, i found that there was some apps that weren't working properly. So being the idiot I am I decided to restore to factory settings from the boot menu. However it didn't fix everything and was wondering if i could completely start fresh?
Hello. Yes you can. I would advice doing an ODIN back to Factory Fresh. Fortunately there is a Forum for your device. The links below should provide you with all the information needed to accomplish this. Best of luck .

Hi guys the title sais it all, it's been like that for 6 months and I can charge but have no idea when it's close to shutting off. Is there a way to reset the battery meter in data/system/? .bin? Phone is at 4.2.2. Thanks in advance for the help.
Hi
