Hi,, did you find the solution? I'm running the same android version ,
If you are rooted go to /system/customize/acc/ and you will find default.xml open it and edit the region and sku_id to 0

or better yet replace it with the correct sku_id for your region/carrier from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2594804
that will give you the correct signal icons as well.

Hi webstar1,
thank you for the hack! Unofrtunately it doesnt work on my megajump. I use Motorola Defy with Motoblur and have a different folder for the GSGPrefs.xml. It is in /data/data/com.getsetgames.megajump/shared_prefs/GSGPrefs.xml.
I killed the app and changed the mp value but when I start the game it gets back to the original value in the file and in the store. Has this been fixed?
Edit: OK I got it! You hava to delete the .bak file, which is created when you edit the original one

I can't seem to find the folder on my HTC DHD, don't have the DBData folder and the only folder named "com.getsetgames.megajump-1" is in mnt/asec and inside there is just 1 file named pkg.apk.
Does anyone have a DHD and can enlighten me as to what to do?

Oh, one more thing. How did you edit the line?
I had to move the GSGPrefs.xml file to my SDcard, install another app called "SilverEdit" which could edit XML files, edited it, moved it back with Root Explorer and only then it worked.
I got ADB but I have no idea how to use it XD
If you could tell me how you edited it, i would be greatly apreciative!

I know this is a bit late now, but I can't find the backup file. So every time I open up Mega Jump, the MP goes back to what it was.

Edit:
don't worry, I've tried a different app and it worked. cheers

Hey everyone!
First: do I need to root my HTC Desire Z for this?
If so: How do I do that?
Hello, this will come as a strange question , but is there a way to disable the new jellybean update ?
The problem is the following.
My grandfather of 81 y is using this tablet , for him it's very difficult to use , he's now almost customized to ICS so an upgrade would mean another learning process , and that not possible for him.
Since this morning i've got the message that there is a new version to install and normally i would enjoy this but he doesn't.
So who can help me ?
Just disable automatic software update and live in peace. Don't tap the update notification ever.

Hello everyone. I have a question. I am using cm7 and I really like it but I can't find a way to manage sim contacts I know how to import them to phone but I don't know how to copy them from phone to sim and also delete some of those in sim. I have tried some apps from play store but they didn't work. I have also searched for a solution in xda but I didn't find. Any help is appreciated.

Somebody here to help me?
I'm using ODIN at the moment;
I have to do these 4 steps;
Click on ‘PDA’ and select file with ‘CODE’ in its name.
Click on ‘Phone’ and select file with ‘MODEM’ in its name. Ignore this step if there is no such file.
Click on ‘CSC’ and select file with CSC’ in its name. Ignore this step if there is no such file.
Click on ‘PIT’ and select the .pit file. Ignore this step if there is no such file.
I can't find any of these files. The only files I have are:
-Boot
-Cache
-Hidden
-Recovery
-Sbl
-System
What do I have to do now?
Thanks

You can edit those kind of icons inside SystemUI.apk
Decompile SystemUI.apk using Advance APK Tools and then you can edit those icons and put there whatever you want.
