Hi all,
I have an issue on a nearly magic (TIM 32a).
Each time I run the music or gallery application the following message appears:
"Sorry! The process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again".
I have to click on "Force close" to relaunch them.but same issue.
I reseted the phone: same issue.
I reflash the rom cm4.2.14.1:same issue
Any idea?

i have searched on internet to find the reason for this mistake.
some people said this is Android Socket unusual.
After running the program pop-up "The application *** has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" then will have to pray to Force close.
This is a classic mistake . socket is unable to be external connection.The specific error will not be reported out of.When debugging,it can be seen exception.As long as there is network connectivity, they come forward so that you can not run the program.
so wht we need to do is :in the AndroidManifest.xml, we need to make the following configuration
In the following permission of the third page, select "Add ..." select "uses permission", and in right side of name ,choose “android.permission.INTERNET” ,then <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET" /> will appear in the AndroidManifest.xml. after it ,runing the application again . this problem will be solved.
but i don not know how to find AndroidManifest.xml. can anyone help me???

Have you do a wipe your data before you flash the new cm rom?

This really doesn't belong in here. You should be posting this in the general forum.
That said, plug the usb cable in, run adb lolcat, and see if you can provide a more descriptive error message when media/gallery crashes. usually the lolcat will give you a more useful idea of why its failing.

thx 4 ur answer. does the adb error cause this problem ？？ when i flash new radio this media problem will be solved while other application have same issues. how can i completely solve this problem ？？？ thx again.

[Q] Installing apps on HTC HD2

I am having a problem with the installation of apps. The problem is ,is that the app will download, but when it comes to installing I always get an error message saying unsuccessful install. I am new to the forum. So any help would be very helpful. Thanks,

specify the apps i will try to guide you

I've experienced this too. Sometimes helps softreset after download and then install.

I have tried hard reset and soft. Every app from the market place does the same thing. Download then failed install. Also when I plug the usb in, my computer doesnt recongnize. Such a newb.

do you have activesync on your computer ?

Yes, activesync doesnt recongnize either.

it is an usb recognized issue ... first uninstall active sync then install it again then launch it then plug your phone and wait untill the installation of your new hardware installation finished ..
for the market place check your settings and make the installation on device ... maybe you have it on storage card and you have issue with storage card ... and also try app confirmed to be working for hd2

Unsufficient Storage Error

Hello,My device info is Galaxy W using CM9 fw.I have these error lately..Some of my apps wont install,Whenever i tried it It prompt n displayed this text UNSUFFICIENT STORAGE AVAILABLE.What is wrong here?I still have 6++Mb space but this app wont install.Any idea?

[Q] USB connection mode from MTP to Mass Storage in MIUI for Micromax

I get an error "The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected" when I try to transfer files from my PC to phone. I use MIUI v5 on Micromax A110. can i get mass storage option activated instead of MTP? or is there an alternative.
I am sorry i don't know to which for i should post this and hence have posted in general

[Completed] Insufficient storage error

My nokia x2 device RM-1013....has only 700mb used out of 2.25gb bt whenever i try to install anything it says insufficient storage......plz hell...thanku
