So I just bought a tab s 10.5 t805 with lte.But to my surprise when I checked its cpu with cpuZ..It had a exynos 5 octa,not the snapdragon one and that has got me really worried...So I wanna ask that which ROMs i can flash on it?The t805(snapdragon) ones or the t800(exynos) ones...As a guy over internet told me that installing t805 roms will brick my tab since they are meant for the tabs with snapdragon...Plz help me.thank u

Here is what I found out:
Model: SM-T800, Model name: GALAXY Tab S 10.5 Wi-Fi (samsung SM-T800 chagallwifixx chagallwifi universal5420 exynos5)
Model: SM-T805, Model name: GALAXY Tab S 10.5 LTE (samsung SM-T805 chagallltexx chagalllte universal5420 exynos5)
So the only difference between T800 and T805 seems to be the LTE chip in the T805. They both have Exynos CPU.

And I found some ROMs, kernels and recoveries which work for both devices, e.g.:
[ROM] [T805] [T800] [NJ5]||| Basic Rom V3 ||| Rooted - Zipaligned - De-Knoxed
[T800/T805][PORT][CWM] PhilZ Touch Recovery 6.58.7 build07a 22/12

Most "Rom's" are hardware specific, but I am sure you can find a custom Rom that has the same features that the Note II or S3 have.
What features are you trying to get on your Tablet that is part of the Note ll or S3 firmware?
Don't think of it, every device has its own configuration, data and files to communicate with device. If you try of other devices, your device will be bricked and will be of no use :banghead:

Hi, hope I´m posting at the right forum Q&A , I have two Samsung 10.1 Galaxy tabs and two Samsung Galaxy phones, I am also 61 years old and my memory capabilities are degrading, it could be an Alzheimer start or maybe just getting older and forgetting some things such as which of my phones and tablets did I flashed with a custom ROM , I look at my Pc and see the Philz touch file and some other rooting and ROM files, the problem i I can´t remember what I did, all four devices are working fine, also they are rooted but I am quite sure I flashed maybe otwo of them but cant remember which one and what ROM I flashed.
Is there a way to know this, just for my mental tranquility.

have a galaxy noe 3 phone -model sm -n 900 i am not sure of which roms i can load onto my phone.
I have tried reading as much as pos;but now i am getting confused as to what i can & cant use on my phone.
a lot of roms dont mention the exact model, just that the rom is for a galaxy note 3. could someone please give me the heads up
on what i can & cant use please:confused

I guess it's a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900).
Here is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 > Galaxy Note 3 General > [INDEX][REPO] Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android Dev ROM/Kernel][MEGA-UPDATE][26th August] thread with a list of all available ROMs for your device.
If you have the Exynos variant, you should check ROM for this variant only, e.g. from here: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 > Galaxy Note 3 Exynos Android Development.

i bought this in philippines
the firmware of my device is the official from samsung.
now finland has just released lollipop version in samsung galaxy s4
is there a way for me to get that update even if i am in philippines?
is there a way to change my register phone region or something to get that official update?(is this possible?)

Your question will be better answered in the Samsung Galaxy S4 Q&A Forum. Also, mention your exact phone specifications like model number, processor type (Exynos or Qcom) etc. when you post there. Good luck.

I have a samsung galaxy tab 4 7.0 3G SM-T231 and it hasnt got lollipop yet
Whereas the sprint and lte version of the tab have got it
Sprint and lte version are exactly same in specs just the difference comes into carrier
Sm t235 has got lollipop i need a guide so that i can port t235 to t231
Both devices are same ,7 inch display,1.5 gb ram etc
I need help or if someone can help me make this rom
I have both roms downloaded with me already im just a beginner in android development im rooted
And can follow instructions well enough
