use TWRP 2.7.0.0 FOR cm10.2(i'm using it).for CM11 RC3 and CM11RC4 use modified recovery given in respective post.
don't restore backup of one recovery with other
flash superwipe before flashing any ROM.

No OS intalled are you sure you wish to reboot...after flashing the rom

Hi there!
Guys....I need some clues on how to handle with this problem.....
I have my 5.0 LRx210 rooted and installed TWRp recovery by use of Nexus Root Toolkit...the root and the recovery just work fine...
Somehow I managed to try flashing my favorite roms....like Pure White Rom/Xtrasmooth2.4/Cataclysm....and so on..
I have got success only on Pure White Rom...for other roms after successful flashing it just keeps saying: No OS installed are you
sure you wish to reboot. For those roms I have tried both Full Wipe flash and Dirty Flash...but got no success..I don't know why?
Come to the blind end now.... I am just staying on Pure White rom waiting for solution....
hope someone here guide me something...thank you

Even if TWRP says no OS try booting up it should work.

I did try it already...just stuck on the boot black screen with google logo.....
Although try updating the TWRP recovery to the latest 2.8.2.0, or even CWM recovery....just got the the same result.
The flashing process is mentioned as Successul.., but then when pushing the reboot button it just shows me the above mentioned sentence....
thanks anyway

Try flashing TWRP 2.8.1.0 in fastboot and try flashing a rom again, 2.8.2.0 can be quirky for some users.

Yes...I do apply root and TWRp recovery 2.8.1.0 via Nexus Root Toolkit 1.9.8....at first.....but it just keeps saying NO OS installed...after finish flashing another rom like Xtrasmoot/Stock5.0 flashable/Cataclysm and bla..bla...bla....(except for Pure White Rom which is my current rom)..and trying to reboot the system.
So I decided to try it with other recoveries like 2.8.2.0 and also the latest CWM recovery....Yet I've got no success till now...that's quite weird
(I have tried flashing with both Full Wipe Flash (Data factory/wipe cache/dalvik cache) and Dirty Flash (wipe cache/dalvik cache)...but as you know...no success....
Thanks anyway...

Well if it we`re me i`d reflash the factory image and start over from scratch, then install TWRP 2.8.1.0 and flash superSU.zip 2.3.5 and flash a custom rom.

Yeah...I reflashed it with factory image 5.0 LRX21O downloaded from Official Google Resource and began the whole process of rooting and recovery installation (TWRP 2.8.1.0 and SuperSu.zip..offcourse).....and then started flashing custom roms...the only rom that I could get through with success is Pure White Rom......for other roms it just had been like I mentioned above......
.....I can not figure it out now....why?
Thank you my Bro....

Because some things on your phone are messed up and figuering out what that is/are will probably take longer then starting over imo.

[Q] Can I have a decent recovery (TWRP/CWM) and CM 12.1 installed at the same time?

I'm testing CM 12.1 and came from the official Kitkat rom. I had to flash CWM via fastboot (thread here) in order to install CM 12.1. It worked, but I was stuck with that Cyanogen recovery that comes with CM 12.1. I tried flashing CWM and TWRP, but my phone went into a boot loop. I was forced to reflash 12.1. I also tried installing a newer version of TWRP via XZRecovery, but it got stuck and never installed anything. Here are my problems:
Can't make nandroid backups
Unable to flash Xposed zip for Lollipop 5.1
Is it possible to run CM 12.1 and have a regular recovery like CWM/TWRP?
I do, so yeah definitely possible. But I don't use a "regular" recovery, but the FOTA Recovery version of TWRP. This recovery is installed in a partition of the system which won't get overwritten by the CM Recovery when upgrading. Just search for "FOTA TWRP Z3" via google or XDA and you should be good to go.

I've been on Kitkat for about 4 months and have no idea how I missed that. I installed it and it works perfectly. Thank you!

Try using the base rom as v5.6.11 and try using the old twrp v2.8.7
I have same issue. Nandroid backup of CM12, Mowkee, Resurection does not successfully load anymore. While the MIUI 7 v7.1.1.0 nandroids still load with no problem. I used to load my other custom rom nandroid with no problem. I did also install the new ver3 TWRP but tried reverting back to Magdag Mi4i TWRP but still same issue.
Try provide with a logcat, might be more useful in helping you.
No other custom rom is working on my mi4i
After clearing the system data cache . . I installed cm13 using twrp by maddag...after successfully installed the rom and gapps when it finishes boot and the welcome screen appears then its stuck in the welcome screen for 5secs then reboots them after booting up again on welcome screen again restarts..it is happening every time.. So I installed cm12 and after finishing boot...again same problem so I reverted back to miui by installing the rom via fast boot by mi pc suite and it booted successfully without any problems.. And in miui rom my mob laggs too much and the benchmark in antutu is 29000...I think I need to replace the mobile phone..still 2 months warranty remaining..?

Try use old TWRP, if you got hard error flash MIUI V6.6.6 first.

Don't forget to flash MIUI V.6.6.6 (or V.6.6.6 patch ROM) first before you restore your nandroid backup like CM12, Mowkee, Resurection if you from new MIUI ROM.
If you want to restore MIUI7 nandroid backup from CM12 you need to flash MIUI7 patch ROM first.

Don't forget to flash MIUI V.6.6.6 (or V.6.6.6 patch ROM) first before you flash to CM13, if not you'll get bootloop. If you use default init.qcom.post_boot.sh and your phone heat up it will lags, so use edited init.qcom.post_boot.sh.
Confirmed

I can confirm that this DID magically works!
No need to use the old TWRP, just flash MIUI V6.6.6(I used the fastboot package[1], not sure if recovery package works) then flash TWRP then flash other custom OSes.

Droid turbo bricked help please

my droid turbo with unlocked bootloader was running on resurrection remix custom rom.
it was working fine then i mistakenly flash xtreme music mod two times then startup failed.
It just shows fastboot and logs show boot up failed. When i opened twrp and tried to flash a new rom i found out all internal storage was not showing and i was unable to clear data or wipe cache.it just failed.
Help please what should i do
twrp says unable to mount partitions and shows 0mb storage.any guess?
Was this audio mod for a specific device? Where did you get it? Have you asked them for help also?
What happens if you restore TWRP backup?
What happens if you reinstall TWRP?
You may have to reinstall stock ROM, with a fresh install and start over.
Use RSDlite to flash stock ROM from Fastboot.
