i am new android and i just bought a galaxy fit... i have already rooted it but i dont know how to upgrade it to 2.3.... please help

should work with kies. try the newest version.
Kies does not update Galaxy Fit to 2.3. The phone comes with 2.2 and that's about it. He was referring to a custom rom I believe. It's still soon as the phone was just recently released

yeah... i was talking abt a custom rom... i know d phone released in feb... but wat exactly happens with a custom rom?????

U can find Galaxy FIT firmware files at samfirmware.com
Download them and use odin 4.38 to flash ur device.
Select these files in odin:
Select ops file BENI_v1.0 in OPS section.
In boot section select APBOOT.
In Phone section select MODEM.
In PDA section select CODE.
and last
In CSC section select CSC.
start ur device in download mode and click START.

Have u enabled USB Debugging mode?
If its off then torn it on and try rooting.
U can find this in Settings>Applications>Development>USB Debugging.
z4root wont work. try only with superoneclick(latest version).

I successfully rooted my phone and saved a back up just in case I go back and unroot again. I installed a custom rom which is VK ROM. Now I accidentally erased the back up file from which it has still no custom rom running to it. I was wondering how would I get back to stock rom and stock kernel and unroot.? Please advise. I'm just new so please make it easy for me to understand. Thanks!

Now I've searched for STOCK ROMS but I don't know which one to download. I'm for JPKJ2. This is the link also from XDA Forum a

But there are 3 links attached to it. I bought the device here in Qatar. Can someone tell me which from the following links in JPKJ2 Firmware should I download? Because I'm troubled if I go with the link for Saudi Arabia or with UAE.

Hello, due to improper handling I would install the official rom version 4.1.2 of the samsung galaxy s2 plus (i9105p) but I can not find it on this great site.More when I install an official rom found on another site I always end up, I never come to start the phone, it still block on samsung.
Please help me, it's been several days that I want a solution...

Hi guys, i have a bit of a problem, i recently installed cyanogen mod without recovery on my fathers s2 and i saved all contacts, logs and messages via kies, after that i didnt knew that kies does not support custom roms and he couldnt get into original android so i have to fix it, so can you plese give me link to download original ROM because firmwares dont work. Sorry for bad english

We need to know your exact S2 model to point you towards help. There's different sections for each model.
You will need to use Odin to install stock firmware, especially if you intend to use Kies.
