Can Someone Port Cyanogen Mod To Mircomax A85/Wellcom A100 /K-Touch W700/Cherry Mobile
Hi This Phone is being sold in diffrent countries with diffrent names..
this is a dual core phone with tegra 2

micromax has denied to release the kernel source they will not make it public..
so would it be possible to build cyanogen mod ona stock kernel without source ?
this phone got a GingerBread Upgrade by Cherry Mobile but the rom is very buggy and it reboots so many times..
there is a popular chinese forum they have ported miui rom for this phone but it also have bugs and it's core are in chinese language..
can anyone help ?

I'm a new be in android, and discover this forum when i'm searching roms for my phone
which is a clone of mmx A110 canvas 2.
all roms 4.0.4 and 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 of canvas 2 on this forum wok fine for my phone
but the newest ones 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 have a problems with them
the problem is in the camera, it did'nt work ( there's no driver message )
by a dev, i need to modify kernel ( private message )
first i'm a simple user, not dev ( how to modify the kernel with drivers for my phone cam ? )
second this issue with kernel appear only with 4.2
third i can't post in dev section i don't know why
finaly how to fix this problem

Strange....Camera is working perfect after release of custom kernel of @Andrixu...Do u have old MMX FON or the Latest one...as latest MMX A110 is not supporting camera on 4.2.2..although our devs r contionuosly working to fix it asap..in case if u hv old MMX than try to.reflash the latest kernel of @Andrixu (which u can find in ANDROID ORIGINAL DEVELOPMENT FORUM) then ur both the cameras will work perfectly..

( EverShine ) it's a clone of mmx a110
and i have tested the two boot.img, of Andiroxu and varun, and the same problem remain
i think when modded, this news boot.img contain only driver for mmx a110, not an universal drivers for other clones
which is not the case with the boot.img of the "4.1.x" version
am i the only one facing fc while opening face and voice unlock on legoice canvas 4 r
sir i am facing fc on face and voice unlock sir....

EverShine would have taken Latest Devices.... Where is the logo of your brand on the Phone??[just asking] as on india....only old phones which came with ICS out of Box is supported by New Kernels... Did you try old kernel by andriroxu??

same, cam not work
i have flashed roms from wiko king, cynus T2, my phone a919 and mmx of course (4.1.x), and all kernels are compatible for EverShine

How to enable 3g on 2nd SIM in MIUI 4.2.2. ROM ??? It only allows to enable 3g on 1st sim.?

in most of roms not enable 3G on 2nd sim..

Turning 3g is not possible in MIUI i think bro
Try CANVAS TURBO ROMS u can enable 3g in both the sims
or simply change sim 1 & 2

I want to port a ROM to a certain device which has no ROMs available. If I take a ROM made for another device which has similar hardware i.e. display, no. of SIM cards and RAM but not the same processor. Would I be able to just flash that ROM on my device?
Like Xperia M2 and Lenovo S660. Both have almost same specs, can I take an M2 ROM and just flash it on S660? Without any changes.
Hello. I have installed a custom ROM ported from Micromax A116 to my phone (Acer Liquid E2 Duo v370). It is a lollipop ROM, CyanogenMod 12 to be more precisely.
There are many things that do not work, the most important ones are:
Absolutely no sound
No calls (only SMS on sim 1, sim 2 is not even detected probably because it is a single sim based ROM)
Camera is not working.
I'd like to know if there is any way of fixing these, most important being (for now) the sound. Thank you.

Thanks for using XDA Assist.
You can try to flash the official firmware for your device.I did a search and found the firmware in http://global-download.acer.com/GDHome.aspx?SC=AAP_7G&LC=en&BC=Acer.
