Hi,
I was hoping that one of you guys can fix the problem i'm facing.
Since yesterday I'm the proud owner of the Galaxy S5 Plus and the Lollipop update for this device is rolling out, only not in my country (Netherlands) yet.
I decided to install the Lollipop firmware from Sammobile on my phone using Odin.
Lollipop works like a charm, the only thing that's annoying me is that I sometimes get the 'Google Play service has stopped working' on my screen.
The thing's I've already did:
- Factory reset/ clear cache
- Uninstall Google Play service update and update again
By the way, when I was on old firmware yesterday (4.4.4), I was also facing the problem once...
Does anyone have a solution?
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. You're facing a relatively common bug with Google Play Services. How often is it happened? Is it affecting how you're able to use the phone?
Hmm, it seems the bug is not there anymore. Since today the error didn't pop up on my screen anymore. I'm hoping that it's solved now. Thanks for the reply!
The new option in Lollipop, Smart Lock is not working for me. Smart Lock is enabled and configured, but I still have to use my fingerprint when I'm home.
Not sure if I have to open a new thread for this question?
I'm sorry but XDA Assist isn't a general helpdesk area, our purpose is to point people who don't know where to post in the right direction. I think it's best for you to ask this question in the S5 q&a section here:

I Recently Updated my Note 3(SM-900) from Kitkat to Lollipop via OTA due to this my phone has serious lag issues and App Crashes.
I wish to downgrade my Android back to Kitkat.
Is it possible?
If yes then how?
Thank you for using XDA Assist. I see that you've also posted this question in the Note 3 help forum. That is the correct place to post the question and I think you've got your problem solved. Good job!

I have been unable to update my g2 to 5.0.2 cause if I do I get touch, knock on, sim card and storage issues. when I first did it I got these issues and wasn't able to fix it so I sent it for repairing, they fixed it and now it's working fine but I wanna update it to lollipop but am afraid that it may have these issues again. I am currently running on 4.4.2. I also noticed now the model number in settings is D800 though on the back cover it says D802. Plz help. thx.

My solution
I had the same problem but when I upgrade to Cyanogen 13.0, the microphone worked perfect and since this I've had no problem. Try to upgrade your Oneplus One.
I hope you resolve your problem.
