Hello!
Im in big trouble because my Moto G ( 2013 ) XT1032 wont flash a new software. The problem is that when I try to flash a new software it says, that the Image is too large. And I cant install something like CyanogenMod because ADB wont find my device. I think its because I haven´t activated USB-Debugging.
Please Help me =)
Search XDA for how to restore back to stock firmware. It would bring back your phone to normal and all errors should be gone.
P.S. can you post the recovery log while flashing a ROM

Then i try to "flash clockworkmod recovery " is successful but my phone still be bricked. Have try to return to stock GJH-78 BUT STILL NOT WORK.
Can anyone help me to bring back to live my phone, thank you.
My phone is G-i9020.
i found that ODIN was the best way to get my phone back from being bricked.
The rootboot at nexushacks also did that to my phone so dont use it.

If you have the Sprint Nexus S 4G, try the instructions in this thread. Let me know if it works.

I think the problem is that you flashed a boot image that is not compatible with your phone. First, determine if you have the I9020- A, T, or F.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1031760 You need to find a post with the stock files for your model, and extract the boot.img. Then
fastboot flash boot boot.img
(If anyone else has the exact same model as him, could you do a nandroid backup and post your boot.img?)
You may need to flash your phone via adb. That's if you can't get into clockwork, there are many threads on how to do this.
Sent from my Nexus S using Tapatalk
Ok I will try to find out the boot.img and reflash again and let y guy know how it work. Thx all for helping.
Hi, same problem here , i have the i9020A version in white.
Any idea where I can find the correct boot.img?
Ok man I found my boot.img so I will flash mine tonight if it work I will post this for you. Let see hah. We are on the same boat, two noobs is always better than one.
Great, I will try to find one on my own and if it works I´ll let you know.
Thanks.

I found one . In this thread [ROM] Stock - 2.3.4 - GRJ22 - Deodexed w/radio for NS/NS4G
I downloaded the image NSGSM-GRJ22-deodexed-KD1-rooted.zip (108.53 MB) md5sum: 970e9c7252f12a38ecaa6ff77ef6d010
Under: NS GSM - (I9020T, I9020A, I9023)...Rooted/Busybox/insecure boot.img/init.d Script support (Since my phone is I9020A 2.3.4 just rooted, I actually unlocked it, but then the rootboot screw me)
Then extract the boot.img and using fastboot type:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Now I can access my just rooted Phone. Hope this help you
hi man go to here and you will find http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1065720&highlight=stock+at+google+pagethe solution. i did this it work for me.
i got a chinese version of razr v(xt885) and now it simply cant boot (always stuck in the M picture) so i need to flash it
here i got several questions that not quite sure of
1. i already got it rooted using a batch file through adb but i find it unable to receive official ota update, so how can i just flash it to the factory state, i mean i want everything the same when i bought it. yes i got a official zip file, but what should i do to totally reset the phone? just get into the boot mode and connect the RSDlite and reflash it?
2. i want to flash the australian retail rom to use Google service。will there be any problem in the process?
3. i did some study on how to flash it using RSDlite. in many instructions people suggest you need to double wipe your phone. so why and when you need to do this?
4. since you cant remove the battery in xt885 so if you just stuck in the M logo when booting i will stay there untill battery worn up so will it be a problem while flashing?
i m a absolute newbie so any help will be appreciated! good day!

Hi all ,
i need some help please ,
i got a Verizon Motorola Droid HD XT926 , after updating to original KitKat 4.4.2 the device was crap !
so i used DROID_RAZR_HD_Utility_1.21.zip to downgrade without rooting (Big Mistake!!!) , any way the device is booting to language\welcome screen ,
and when selecting language the "initializing" it get stuck like that forever ,
tried fastboot several times , also flashing the recovery but nothings helps.
i've looked on many solutions but since the device is still locked my options are limited,
i do not have any backup unfortunately ,
besides pointing out my mistakes , can any one please help?
Thanks
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.

do you want to go back to stock kitkat? then use this fxz/sbf from @SamuriHL http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-razr-hd/general/fxz-4-4-2-183-46-15-t2873083
if you want to do something else ask and i will tell you if it is possible i think you are unlocked because you were able to downgrade so you have custom rom options too

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
Quite possibly my easiest problem of the night.
Your bootloader is unlocked. So....flash custom recovery. One that can do adb as well (unless you Moto G also has an SD card slot, but if we are talking about the original 2013 model, then one won't be there).
Then, reboot into recovery. Make a backup. Pull the backup files to your PC (either by adb or MicroSD, if available). Extract the system backup file (is a tarball) in a Linux filesystem. Fix up your build.prop mistakes. Tar system back up, and bundle the backup as a second set to push back to your device. Restore that backup (need only be system partition). Profit.
Any further questions, can ask in the following thread (assuming you have the 2013/1st gen non-LTE version - otherwise reply here with variant details for further instructions):

No problem.
USB debugging being off is only a consequence if planning to ADB in from system. Recovery has it's own rules.
Not sure about the "cannot unarchive" message, but if you can get the stock ROM, that's a viable option as well.

"unknown partition 'Rom.zip'
error: cannont determine image filename for 'Rom.zip'
and if it helps i tried using stock recovery with this method (installed. 4.4):
androidforumsDOTcom/threads/cdma-boostmobile-only-guide-on-returning-to-stocDOT.826108/
and adb works when im on custom recovery if that helps out
and i never got to do the back up build.prop method because i had already done the first stock recovery method which i feel mightve messed things up. thanks for your replies man it really means alot

Hello,
Fastboot is unable to flash zips unfortunately. That's the recoveries job.
If you can find fastboot images of stock, you can flash back that way.
Especially at this point, I would urge you to take advantage of the help thread I mentioned earlier. They know more about your device (particularly what's available and what not) they I would.
Hope this helps!
hey all.
so recently i dug out my lg spirit H440n
i am hoping someone however can help me.
A while back i tried to flash cwm recovery on it (noob mistake) and as such ruined the recovery.
now im pretty screwed because i never backed up the stock recovery and am having a really hard time finding a copy of the stock recovery.img which i plan to re-flash
i was hoping someone here could do me a favor and make a copy for me off their device
if it is for some reason not compatible what are my options from here.
im trying to fully return back to stock
any help is appreciated
anyone?
