Hi All,
Need your help desperately, I have tried many options on the net but could not find any solution to my device htc desire 501 dual sim. I had rooted my device and went into recovery mode. Now it has stuck at bootloader and cannot find any RUU to re-install the factory image. Have tried with other HTC desire RUU but not succeeded. Is there any RUU where I can use and come back to factory image.
Thank you
Hi,
Here is a dedicated thread for your device. Please read through it all and if there's no answers, you can ask for help there,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2608554
If you find no help there, you'll need to ask for help here,

Also, trying to flash anything made for different devices, could likely destroy your device. Not a good idea.

Hi!
There's no specific section for your device, but I found a thread with a lot of useful tools and stock firmware I believe, which you may need to flash.
>*Android Development and Hacking*>*Miscellaneous Android Development*>*[RECOVERY][ROOT][ROMS][MODS][Other] Vodafone Smart II/Alcatel V860/MTC 962
If that thread isn't helpful, you'll need to ask in our general Q&A section for help....
>*Android Development and Hacking*>*Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck! ?

If you end up asking in the Q&A section....be a bit more specific in asking....like your device stopped during what process? What happens when you plug into the PC? Is it in device manager at all??
The more details given...the better the help will be.
Thank you for your help.!

Hi,
Unfortunately there's no section for your device, so asking for help here would be best,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!

This is your third thread in this... You've been pointed in the direction to ask for help.
No more to say. Use the links you've been given. Thread closed.
Hey All,
So I decided to restore my phone through the restore option on cwm. when it rebooted the phone screen just went blank. i can see that the backlight is on but nothing is showing up on the screen. ADB is not recognizing it, and if i hold down power nothing happens please help!
Hi,
You would be best to ask the experts who own your device for help here,
> HTC One (M8) > One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [HELP THREAD] HTC One M8 - Ask any questions here!
Have you tried a factory reset... After restoring your backup?
Good luck!

Oh... When you ask for help in that thread, letting them know more details would help. What the backup was of, and what you had on the phone when decided to do the restore. ?
I have flashed htc 816 dual sim with kingsense 5.5 and tampered sign has been showing at boot screen
so can I flash htc wid cayenogenmod11
if yes
plzz tell me how to do it and where can I find the rom for india
Hi,
To flash a rom you need an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery installed. Then you can flash roms. As far as what roms , as long as they are made for your specific device you should be good. If you're unsure, then the place to ask for confirmation is in the rom thread. But simply reading the first post or 2 in the rom thread should tell you.
As far as how... Flashing instructions are usually at the beginning of the rom threads also, in the first few posts.
Any other questions about your device can be posted in your device section if a search doesn't help, here...

Good luck!

Here is a thread in your device section specifically for Indian users, you could ask about that here too..

Hi,
i have a ploblem and i hope that you can help me solve it. I have a phone(alcatel one touch idol mini) that has some issues with the display and i can't get it for waranty replacement because it has system level modifications and i got another phone, the same model but stock, no modification but the screen is cracked and it won't recognize touches. how can i get the stock system without touching the 2nd phone and put it on the first?
ps: the first one is rooted with twrp and the 2nd is not rooted, full stock. is there an adb comand or something.
sry for bad english
Hi,
This would be the best place to ask about that, it's a thread dedicated to your device,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Alcatel One Touch Idol Mini 6012X (aka Orange Hiro)
Personally, I never recommend such a plan. Backing up system files on one device and moving it to another often leads to issues. But the best way if you're determined to do so, assuming the are identical devices, is to backup the one with twrp, and transfer the backup to the second and restore it. But don't backup of restore the Efs partition, or you'll likely brick your other device... Or at least wipe out your imei number, on top of other issues.
Again, for other opinions and ideas, ask in that thread. If that doesn't help, you can ask for help here,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!
---------- Post added at 10:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:36 PM ----------
And yes, that would mean both devices need twrp installed. ?

Try a CWM recovery if there's one for your device, doesn't require touching the screen.
