I`m from Argentina and my brother gave me a C2105 from Spain. I've to change baseband but I flash with one from Argentina but nothing happen. How can I change the working bands?. Only the UMTS are wrong. It has working BC1 and BC8. From Argentina are BC5 and BC2. Please help...

Flash the correct regional FTF file from here; http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/general/sony-xperia-l-flashable-ftfs-locked-t2560642
However, it's not possible to switch between C2104 / C2105 firmware.
Thanks, I flashed another one I have from Personal Argentina, in flashtool only flash de baseband but are the same working bands in my phone... Another suggestion?

Well I come with a query. I had my Xperia x10 Mini Pro a firmware with the following characteristics:
Baseband: M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015
2.1.1.A.0.6 SE firmware
Model number U20a
It worked perfectly well. Radio, WiFi, 3G, etc.
Well I decided to upgrade to this ROM

Well almost everything turned out fine, but this ROM I would change the model number to U20i. I live in Central America, specifically in El Salvador, my operator is CLARO. As U20i software will not let me connect to 3G only EDGE networks are very slow.
My question is: I can change my model to U20a U20i without losing the current ROM I have?
Installed some ROM that does not change U20a to U20i? Since this probe with another ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1201116 but gave me the same change of model.
I like the ROM add functionality as very good, but I hate to lose 3G. I'm sure my phone hardware is U20a think maybe you can repair.

I got the one from Vodafone Germany . there is an little branding. Does it work if I flash 10d without vodafone? I only got 10b

You can install G930FD firmware on an G930F device, the FD is for duo SIM but will work just fine with one SIM. So you can install Vietnam (XXV) firmware which has English and Vietnam language

No, you don't need both or in fact any SIM present for the firmware to work.
