[Q] Which phone is this Device re-branded from ?

Please Help me out here. I live in Dhaka, Bangladesh and I recently bought this device. It's been named SYMPHONY and model is given W72.

It's a Chinese device which got re-branded by symphony in Bangladesh. I need to know the Original brand and model name of this phone so that I can search for it's drivers and clockwork mod recovery image.

Not clone. A rebrand. They wiped out the original name tag and placed their own logo and name. It does not have sense UI.

I reset my MT7 TL10 phone today. And I installed stock recovery hoping that I will get updates but it is still not updating. I think the stock recovery doesn't belong to my version. I took it from the root and unlock thread.
I shall be much thankful if someone help in this regard.
My exact version is this attachment. It is international version.

it is simple just downl. your original SW what your phone was shipped with .. and extract recovery ..

Thanks Simona Simmy. I downloaded one from Huawei site one. I extracted according to the instructions for Huawei software extractor. But unfortunately the only recognizable file is system.img. There the other files are unknown image files. I don't know which one is recovery.

Did you use HuaweiUpdateExtractor_0.9.8.0 ?
I found a lot of images by this tool includ recovery.img

i'm little confused which ROM is right for my 3G/32GB Gold Mate7 Dual Sim? (Running Single SIM and SD)

What does the syntax mean? V100 - R001 - C00 -BXXXSPXX? Due to that i also have a CHN in front of the C00?

I dont think there's going to be any soak test or anything like that but instead we'll get a proper stable Nougat, In India I dont think anyone has received any notification to upgrade to Nougat 7.0 yet. OP please share the details...

If the zip file is on the sdcard it will automatically find/select it after local upgrade

If you have the t mobile variant you won't have this option.

You should probably reply to Post #5, as that person made the statement that the option wasn't available on the T-Mob version, as they might know more. I was just clarifying what he meant by "variant" as that term confused another user.
Is your phone rooted? That is the only reason I can see for wanting to use the local upgrade option.
