Well, to begin with I am neither rooted nor have an Unlocked Bootloader. So, yesterday i went to the official Cyanogenmod site where they showed CM 11 Installer. It says
Download the CM11 Installer app
Then download the Windows 7 Installer
And CM11 will be installed.
So... It turns out to be that simple to get CM11 on your Xperia E ??? OR ARE THERE ANY OTHER REQUIREMENTS BEFORE ALL THIS??
TO REMIND YOU AGAIN I M NEITHER ROOTED NOR WITH AN UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER NOR WITH A CUSTOM RECOVERY. MY PHONE IS JUST OUT OF THE BOX AND I AM A NOOB USER.
BTW I just want the Cyanogenmod 11 on my phone to change UI themes. I've tried many launchers but they dont change the system UI theme (they only change the home screen ). I am basically bored of my system ui theme of Xperia E and want the ability to change phone themes (with WHOLE UI). Please help me guys ???
First of all..you need unlocked bootloader and of curse custom recovery..For custom roms and mods etc... check thishttp://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-j-e/general/xperia-e-official-thread-roms-mods-root-t2535522 and...Xperia E doesnt supported officialy from cyanogenmod...There is a lot other custom roms for xperia e...

I Want to put the Cyanogen mod 9.0 Os to my Sony Ericsson Xperia mini ST15i device.
I have dowmloaded the latest stable smultron build from Cyanogen mod website.
And have installed with the help of Recoverymode options. But it is not installed properly and device getting restart again and again .
Have tried with the other versions whichis available in the cyanogen mod device builds list.
but nothing is worked correctly.
7.0 version os is ot at all moving from boot animation. i have left for more thatn one hours
its not chnaged the screen from that animated page.
Please advice me to put the latest Cyanogen mod build into the sony xperia mini device.

actually i have unlocked the boot loader of my xperia l according to the sony official way...and now i need to flash the kernel and the rom...but unfortunately i don't have kernel and rom for xperia l...so i have to download it...but i am confused which one(for both the kernel and rom) should i download..."official" or "clean and tweaked"...please suggest me...i don't have any idea regarding this topic..!!!

So I got an old Xperia C2305 and wanted to install a custom ROM on. Only to find out it has a locked bootloader with no way of unlocking . Anyway, I've tried a few custom ROMS, but they're all Jelly Bean based that's themed like lollipop. I was wondering if it's possible to compile MIUI 6/7/8 from source since I've download the Sony device's kernel source. So is it possible to compile MIUI(PatchROM) for my device, despite having a locked bootloader or am I stuck with Jelly Bean forever?

I need help, so my phone is a Sony Xperia V (lt25i). At first it ran stock, where i rooted and unlocked bootloader and installed Cyanogenmod 11 (android 4.4.4) using cwm. After that i flashed the custom rom of LineageOS (lineage-14.1-20170414-nightly-tsubasa-signed.zip). Here is where i ran into a problem. the phone is stuck on the sony logo. and i am able to enter to its recovey . what should i do ? Hope you'll help me.

If you rooted your phone by yourself, it is reasonable to assume that you have basic knowledge when playing around suck risky activities.
Anyway try to install custom rom which is Compatible with your phone model and variant .if its still not working reflash stock firmware ,this really works.
