Downgrading my arc s to gb...

Hi,
i am about to downgrade my arcs to GB because in the latest 4.0.4 and .587..
the doomlords tool of rooting giving error of read only file system in this version...
is someone try the tool in GB??? is this error also comes in GB version..
plzz help i really need to root my arc for flashing custom roms..
stock rom is too laggy...

Have you unlocked your boot loader.
If yes then flash kernel from .62 firmware and then use any rooting method you want. Eg.unlock root

Connect your phone to PC companion.then in the PC companion .click on repair .
It should bring you back to 4.0.3.

download flashtool & GB ROM (ftf file) & ADB driver if u dont have
Install ADB driver
Install flash tool
Put ROM ftf in firmware folder
Start Flashtool, choose flash mod, select ROM ftf, then a window appears
Turn off phone, hold back button down while plugging cable in.
And just wiat until flashing completed

Download 4.0.3 kernel heere https://www.dropbox.com/s/w7ziphkgu02l08c/firmwares.rar and flash it with flashtool
Download roottool http://dl.dropbox.com/u/26893726/ROOT_v5_SE_2011_ISC403.rar
Turn on ur phone, connect to PC with cable
Run bat file in the tool, ur phone will reboot few times, then keep ENTER until the command window quit
Check superuser on ur phone---> turn off again
Reflash stock ROM 587 with uncheck wipe data & wipe cache

no need to downgrade...

coz i was having a problem in rooting locked bootloader..
but after root and flashing jelly sandwich my fone stuck at sony logo...
this is due to unlocked bootloader??
now i am on CM9-nightly..anzu

I flashed jelly sandwich zip with CWM recovery...
And OK I will flash suave kernel...
And u know a best JB ROM for Arc S.like..RR for S2?....

Can't get into shell from usb...

I can't go into shell from my computer using usb debugging and latest omaptool. It was a real timesaver but now i can't get into it.
My steps;
I activate usb debugging.
Go to omaptool open the shell
Type adb shell
Daemon started using blah port.
Error device not found.
All the drivers are installed correctly.
I'm running CM10 and windows 7.

Question can you se you'r phone in Devicemanager? if not i think u need to install Drivers or Something

Update the drivers ,, see the 3rd post in the resurrection guide .

I already did dude , that was my first solution.
i don't ask for help without trying to solve it thoroughly myself.

[Q] Bricked my phone

Hello! I think I have bricked my phone. This is what I did : I rooted my phone, then went to Rom toolbox to change my statusbar icon colors to yellow. Then, my phone started popping errors everywhere. I tried to reboot, but after that, I could've not go to download mode and also boot it. Charging icon shows when charging the phone, but doesnt boot. I do not have custom recovery. Is it a hard brick, soft brick or Idk what brick? Also, help :c Im desperate

Nothing works, just flashes the touch buttons below. (Back and buttons like that)

Remove and reisert the battery. Then press and hold vol up + vol dn + power button and tell me if u get into emergency mode.

[Q] Bricked Xperia Locked Bootloader

Hello Everyone .
i have an Xperia M2.I flash it via flastool to 4.3 (Actually cant end with an error.) Anyway it has hard bricked. i got the bootloader unlock code from sony before, but i did not unlock it.but i rooted it with towelroot.So if i take it to warranty what do you think would they fix or not. sorry for my bad english.

Can you please elaborate whats the condition of your mobile right now..

However, you don't need to unlock your bootloader to flash your stock rom.

i have bad english sorry if i understood wrong
it does noting right now. no light, vibration anything. cant flash stock rom. i am charging it i mean plug it but as i said no light.

Yeah, no problem. Install flashtool in your PC and install all the drivers. Also install Sony PC Companion, it resolves some of your driver problems. Then Connect your phone to PC in flashmode( remove your battery, hold volume down button and connect to PC, LED will turn green ) and just flash your stock rom ftf file using flashtool, everything goes fine. You can download flashtool from here.

Help with xposed framework

Hello im new to xda so forgive me if its not on the right place. I have a note edge with 5.1.1 rooted with custom rom and twrp kernel and i need to know how to get the framework to work with xposed please if there is any one welling to help me ^^; cuz every time i try it shows me this page. And thank you for your time ^^

you need to do this thru recovery

and download xposed-v75-sdk22-arm-by-romracer-20151014.zip 3.7 MB
than install this zip file using recovery
reboot and
install xposedinstallerV3 alpha4.apk
