I'm both happy and sad to create this thread. Happy because we have finally got JoyOS on our SGR but sad because a great developer & a very good friend Grarak will not be developing for us anymore. I wish him luck for his future development on his new phone, Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
As you might know, Grarak is the one who ported MIUIhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800392http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800392 & gave us the chance to taste it's beautification and snappyness on our SGR. He would keep working on his releases even if he would be at work. He always gave us fast updates and bugfixes. I've always enjoyed testing for him & in fact, will keep enjoying it if he decides to develop for SGR again.
Well, I'll miss him. Preferably, his comedy over Gtalk. :silly: :laugh:

Instructions:-
Please make sure you have taken CWM Backup/Nandroid Backup before proceeding...
1.Put the downloaded JoyOSv0.1-1.zip file in your SD card.
2.Boot into CWM and perform a data wipe/factory reset.
3.Wipe Cache.
4.Wipe Dalvik Cache.
5.Go to "Mounts and Storage" and peroform a "format /system".
6.Now flash JoyOSv0.1-1.zip from "Install from SD card".
7.Flash CM7 Gapps. You can download them here.
8.Again perform a data wipe/factory reset.
9.Reboot and Enjoy!

Its a special ROM like MIUI and CM7. Its based on AOSP resources. JoyOS and MIUI are almost the same. They both give iOS style experience to its user.

Camera won't work on CM and CM based other roms, epsy have said that he will try building CM9/10 as its easy to fix this problem in 4.0+ builds.
As now we will soon be having official ICS and sources will be published soon so I think he will probably move to latest builds. And transfer CM7 for later.

For ICS CM team has developed common libraries file and drivers, so it will be easy to build it in ICS....

after flashing you'll get two apps installed..
one will show u ur entropy value ..
if ur entropy is hovering around 4k..
den mod is working perfectly and u won't face a single lag at all..

Thanks, exactly what I'm looking for. my entropy value is 4096. BTW, on ur original thread, u recommended to go into dev tools - dev settings and change the background process to max 4 app processes. Does this mean if I have more than 4 apps running, this mod would automatically kills those apps ?
Great mod! Much quicker! Only issue I'm having is that it won't keep an app in memory e.g. if I am using my browser then go back home and then go back to my browser it restarts the browser again and I lose my bookmarks.

I was on Bobcat rom MJ7 and after i installed it, i lost EVERYTHING.
I have NO signal, no sim, no processes, (Process system is nt responding) nothing.
I tryied ODIN and Flash Stock Rom and when i reboot i dont have signal, sim and the phone reboots its self
GRRRRRRRR
what can i DO ??? to restore it back to normal?

If you're rooted and have custom recovery try the EFS fix/bootloop script in the development section it'll restore your warped EFS straigth away. --- Messing with kernels/mods/tweaks there is always a chance it will mess up. - Happened to me with a kernel, but same kernel with this script is fine now.

Thanks @Frozen27 i have always known you have a great passion for the work. We respect your decision very well but we are pleading with you to try and reconsider your decision since it will affect alot of people. loosing you simply means that this is the beginning of the end of n900. We dont have much developers on n900. If you cant continue the thread why dont you create a new so we continue from there.
