[Completed] [Q] SIM unlock Sprint HTC One M8 - XDA Assist

I have the SPC and SIM unlock code for my HTC One M8 for Sprint. I cant figure out how to unlock it. When I put a TMobile SIM in, the phone does not ask for the code. Instead, a warning shows 4G services are unavailable as the SIM/UICC is invalid. Im new to this, so any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Here is a thread on the subject,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2718150
It appears to only work with international Sim cards, not US. You can read through the thread, will be lots of discussion about that. You can post there too.
Good luck!

Crucial : Help and pointers Needed for SIM Unlocked for ever

Hi All..
I have posted this as a post in many threads.
I have HTC Fuze (AT&T) with the Stock ROM and features.
I purchased this model in US and currently I am in India and tried to use it
I obtained the proper unlock code from AT&T and entered it from the QWERTY Keyboard and also the touch screen entry
But this failed to unlock it.
But I tried unlocking it for 4 times
Later I called AT&T and asked help they asked me to do whatever was done before once from Keyboard and once from screen
Now I get a message stating
"You have tried 6 times so far Please wait untill timeout"
I informed AT&T Regarding this they say Your phone is now permanently locked to AT&T We are sorry for the trouble.
Is ther any way I can do the SIM Unlock and use it for other n/w apart from AT&T.
Please help me in this.

I read in this post ppl have successfully SIM unlocked the Kaiser even after permanently locked to AT&T
Is there anything similar SuperCIDUnlocker for Fuze ?
All suggestions and help appreciated.
I have heard of incidents of Fuze being pemanently unlocked even after proper code entered, the code being provided by AT&T
Now i cant see the option of using Olipro's Unlocker as it has been locked to aT&T and the "OK" button is not enabled

Have you tried the sim unlocker for Raphael?
you can find it in wiki.

[Q] How to unlock AT&T captivate with no SIM inserted in it?

Dear all i am new captivate owner.Living in pakistan. My captivate is "sim free", but locked to AT&T network. Can anyone tell me how to unlock this phone without AT&T sim card inserted in it.Thanks in advance.
Assuming you have the unlock code, you would insert a Non-AT&T SIM in order to get the phone to prompt you to enter it.
If you already have the unlock code from AT&T, the information at the end of the YouTube video is all you need. As is stated above, start the phone with NO SIM CARD and follow the instructions on the phone's screen.
As AT&T will not release the unlock code to a phone/account that is less than ten months old--with some exceptions--you may be forced to pay for the unlock code if you don't already have it. AFAIK, if you don't have an AT&T account, they will not provide an unlock code to you in any case... although, you may be able to sweet-talk a rep into helping you over the phone. Additionally, there are many "for a charge unlocking services" on the 'Net.
These two links might be of help to you. You'll find a lot of references with a Google search for "unlock samsung captivate at&t" and many on XDA-Developers as well. Good luck.

[Q] How to bypass AT&T activation on HTC One X+?

Hi, I live outside the US and I'm planning to purchase a HTC One X+ 64GB (AT&T). Is it possible to activate this device outside the US without an AT&T sim? And to unlock it later to use it with another carrier outside the US? Thanks a lot.:fingers-crossed:

How did you miss the sticky..
As mentioned, this forum is only for the One X (dual core version), and the X+ is a completely different device, hardware wise. You'll likely find a better answer in the proper forum.
But while I'm not 100% on this, I think the AT&T activation process is just to get the phone working on their network and the correct AT&T account. I don't think its required to power on the device. You should be able to turn it on just fine, insert another carrier's SIM, and enter in the proper SIM unlock code.
Buying AT&T devices for use overseas seems to be somewhat common on here. So perhaps somebody can chime in with some first-hand experience.
With that said thread closed.
