[Q]help with Root and Custom rom With Lock Bootload For SONY XPERIA L

Hi All im hopeing somebody can help me out with my SONY XPERIA L im sick of all the bugs in my stock rom its doing my head in rebooting when it wants to and doing what it likes i would like to flash a custom rom to my phone but im unsure if it can even be done as my bootloader is locked and says i can not unlock it i did read somewhere that it can be done but never said how it was done :/ it would be a big big help if somebody could tell me how to do it it

there are some roms you can install on locked bootloader. Only for jellybean. Head over to the development section and you will find some.

that depends on the rom itself.
The developers have posted all the instructions along with the requirements.
Just search for your rom and you'll find all the instructions you need to follow.

for locked bootloader
you can install 4.2.2 rom only

Although there is no Cyanogen Rom because the bootloader was not unlocked

Many developers are working on porting Cyanogenmod for Xperia C

I e-mailed Sony Customer care last month and they said that unlocking the bootloader is not allowed, also if you unlock the bootloader you will void your warranty.

You just need to find a jelly bean kernel for the D2302. Or the 4.4.2 kernel if it is vulnerable to Towelroot. I don't remember if [just] the rooting worked with the attached kernel for D2303. If you have any question use that thread, more people are following it.

I've the same model. If you fail at rooting using the mentioned guides then ask me for help. ?

@Vtrendzzy, have been trying to find the JB Stock and also the 4.4.2 Stock for the D2302 (M2 Dual) and haven't been successful.
Would you please help point in the right direction?

I found HERE some custom ROMs for Gionee P2. There are not any feedbacks about so I recommend you take all precautions (backup everything)

Just 1 doubt does it mean i can install any custom room to my device. As i want to install cyanogen.
