smartphone Xperia Arc S is updated to ICS and uses the same cipset of our end and maybe we are missing the drivers for the camera may be taken from that device, I'm no expert but it could be helpful information.

Infact, all phones that gets updated to icm by roms, having problems. The openmax driver codecs are not avaidable for developers. So working preview, camcording, and HQ on youtube would be very hard. But there's hope, someone started a petition to OpenMax, to release to codes. There are needed 7500 sign's, we have almost 7200 right now. But if OpenMax will do it, is another issue

Will the Galaxy Camera ever get an update to 4.2 (official or not)? I couldn't find anything so there's probably no information about that I guess.
Since I share one digital camera with several people it would be cool if everyone could have his own account on the device.

Comparing to Dr. Ketan's last built (L22.1) the new one (L23) seems much better in several ways but here I have been facing some issues with the camera. Picture qualities are worse than before (get blurred pics with L23) also the phone gets heated/overheated while using the camera.
Can anybody please help me out there to fix this issue??

I have s7560 running cm11 ,and my hardwear camera is 5mp but there is a bug in ALL custom roms as they only allow camera to be set to resolution of 3mp.
Recently I found out that some dev's successfully managed to change Canvas's camera from 8mp to 13mp (even though their hardwer camera is only 8mp) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2790959.
Since they went beyond their hardwear resolution I'm hopping someone could help me to maximize potential of my cam.

I've already sent message to all active devs for s7560 and no one knows how to resolve the issue so I was wandering if someone came across the same problem on different phone and if they have,could they share their solution.I know it has something to do with cam libs but I'm not skilled to fix that kind of problem :/

Seen one in tmobiles forum but Noone has got it working Dubbed the note 5 cam on steroids.
