I just has a quick question.
Which version of the mate 7 (gold version) is being sold on Oppomart.com.
On Oppomart it says their phone supports network:GSM: GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz , WCDMA: Bands: 900/2100MHz, LTE FDD: Bands 1 / Band 3 .
But this isn't the mt7-tl10.
The mt7-tl10 (aka international version) supports:
The both SIM supports the same LTE and WCDMA frequecies:LTE FDD:B1/B3/B7 TD-LTE:B38/B39/B40/B41;WCDMA:850/900/1900/2100MHz.
The GSM frequecies of the two sim are different:
GSM frequecies of SIM1:850/900/1800/1900MHz,GSM frequecies of SIM2:900/1800/1900MHz.
Could someone who bought the gold version from OPPOMART check his device?

I can only tell you what they told me in October. They said they had the MT7-TL10 version and send me a pic of the box to verify that. But again, that was in October when they were first getting their stock, so they may have expanded their offerings since then. I didn't buy it because I needed the L09 version.

My TL10 does not support 800MHZ Band 20.
Sure it is not the Asian model?
european tl10 does not support 4g band 20
I have the european model but it does not support band 20
According to the statement of efox, last model in the table, it should have band 20.

How do I recognize the international version?
I bought a TL-10 through classifieds. It seemingly does not support the 800 LTE band, at least it does not get an LTE signal on carriers that use it. So I guess that is the case. Are there indicators für Asian vs. Internation TL-10?
Sure it's also the International then? Yes both have the name TL10.
So according to the Huawei website there are 3 hardware versions?

Will a Phone SIM from Three UK network work in the HUAWEI Honor X2 GEM-702L 4G ?
the reason I ask here rather than Three support is because those guys previously steered me wrong,
any advice appreciated before I order this phone from China, thanks guys.

In the UK the bands used are bands 1,3,7,8 and 20. The Gem-702L has bands 1,3,7 and 8 but not band 20. I'm pretty sure band 20 is the lower mhz (800 MHz) band for in building coverage (similar to T-Mobile's band 12 here in the US) You should get LTE just fine but in buildings where LTE coverage isn't the greatest you may only get 3G as the X2 doesn't utilize band 20 in the UK. From what I see for Three is that they use 2100mhz for 3G and 800mhz and 1800mhz for 4G. The X2 doesn't have 800mhz but has 1800 mhz so 4G should work.
Sorry. Posted on the wrong thread.
I am on Three in Austria here use "3" LTE 2600 and 1800 MHz perfect for Mediapad X2 703L and 702L,since the two have no Band20
But Three in UK use LTE Bands 1800 and 800MHz,only Mediapad X2 701L supports 800MHz (Band 20)
But LTE 800 is used only in rural areas and in the city the 1800MHz
Hiya, I'm on the 3 network in the uk, GEM 702L and I have no problem with 4g or any other network issues.
Bought the phone from 'Oxford Street' on amazon, not directly from china.
many thanks guys,
it turns out the phone I have ordered is the GEM 703L version, according to the Huawei web site it uses the following 4G bands
1800MHz (Band 3)
2100MHz (Band 1)
2600MHz (Band 7)
UK Three network uses 4G on
1800MHz (Band 3)
800MHz (Band 20)
and 3G on
2100MHz (Band 1)
it should be OK.

Hello everyone,
I really want to buy this phone BUT I need to know if the american version of the Honor 8 sold in the Hihonor US website it's compatible with the next 3G/LTE Bands:
- 3G: Bands 2 and 8
- LTE: Bands 3 and 4
In the Hihonor US website says the phone bands are these:
- WCDMA: B1/B2/B4/B5/B8
- LTE FDD: B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B12/B17/B20
So I can say that supports the bands I need, BUT (again) in web sites like GSMArena and others says it does't support the WCDMA Band 8 and LTE Band 4.
Who lies? Honor or the other websites? I'm confused...

Gsmarena have the specs of the Chinese version
I think you should go with Official websites, as they often are correct.
Other websites gather their data from multiple sources, and doesn't always specify which model's data they are showing, so head over to a US Honor website and check their data, it will be the correct one.
I puchased the Honor 6X BLN-24 to for my mother for the sole reason that it was stated on Amazon and other sites that it had Band 20 (800MHz European Digital Dividend) support. The hihonor.com store also states it has Band 20 https://store.hihonor.com/us/honor-6x/specification
However it turns out it only has the following support for the American bands. I noticed this while on vacation and saw only 4G on her phone, not LTE. It turns out she was on WCDMA 2100MHz Band 1
Primary SIM card:
FDD-LTE: B2/B4/B5/B12 (mFBI B17)
WCDMA: B1/B2/B4/B5
GSM: B2/B3/B5/B8
Secondary SIM card:
GSM: B2/B3/B5/B8
Is there any way to root and "change" the phone software and radio to the European Huawei Mate 9 Lite? Or somehow add at least Band 20 LTE (and hopefully Band 8 WCDMA)
Thank you
M
Bumping. Anyone have any idea of you can rebrand/change radio?
M
same issue here. were you able to fix it?
That's a hardware thing, unfortunately no
