I have partitioned my 4gb Card with TRWP and made 1 gb partition
After that my card is only usable on that partition i.e 1GB and lost other space
Any suggestion plz

i have a 2 gb sd card which i plan to use as storage in my flashed tilt.
i formated it as fat32, but guess there is some problem doing that as my tilt has started giving me a critical alarm that there is very little space on the storage device - i have hardly used 50MB in the 2GB sd card being used as the storage !!
can someone advise me the file system (fat16 / fat32) to be used & its allocation unit size for use of the 2GB SD card in the tilt.

I use FAT32. card standard allocation unit size.
Use 128mb,256mb,512mb mSD to flash with.

I use FAT32...see the 8GB link in my signature for a link to a thread that has a great app that specifically formats the SD card in a proper way.
FAT32 is much more efficient.
I've brought my sdcard from my old HTC Magic. There (using cyanogenmod) it was partitioned to have swap, ext4 space for apps2sd and storage space as vfat. I did not repartitioned the card since I started using my Defy but it ran out of space already.
The question is - do I need swap and apps space or shall I repartition my card to have only storage space for the defy? I'm using Jboogies rom, if that matters.
You do not have to partition your MicroSD card at all.
Shouldn't need apps2sd or space in sd card for applications. Defy has over 1g available rom space out of factory.
I bought a new strontium 16 gb class card. the card was readable by the phone when and showed 14.92 gb free space. But the cwm recovery is not able to mount the sd card. I formatted the sd card in fat32 format using pc but of no help. I want to make an ext partition so that i can use it as secondary internal memory for my HTS desire. any suggestions..??
Good morning forum , wanted to know if any of you happened to put them scripts to change the internal memory SD memory GT- 7100N (Galaxy Note 2) Perseus Kernel 3.6, in some cases only recognizes SD card ta as total memory without reference to the old internal memory ? ? Example: Fabria team came with 12gb of internal memory, no SD card, it incorporates a 32GB SD card , soon I realized that all the applications and games were installed on the internal memory without using the SD memory he had bought , which 10GB internal memory was getting less space. Searching the forum and other pages I found the solution to the problem .. Install the ROM Perseus , which allowed turn 11extsd2internalsd_gs3_fat32 -1 install script , which makes modification to use the card as primary storage SDext , which my GT- 7100N , happened to have 28GB in primary partion or 10gb phone and in the partition of SDext . Now as ask at the time, there are times when accessing the storage section , I listed both primary 28GB partition to the SD card, this means that for some reason do not see the internal memory of the phone , but everything works as always . I am trying to partition the SD card to extend the internal memory through Link2SD :
I tried to partition with computer and mobile apps ( Minitool partition and through apps AParted and Apps2SD )
more than one time I did partitioning
50GB fat32/ 10GB ext2
50GB fat32/ 10GB ext3
45GB fat32/ 15GB ext2
45GB fat32/ 15GB ext3
52GB fat32/ 8GB ext2
52GB fat32/ 8GB ext3
always the big part is the first partition
The partitioning succeed but each time I insert the SD in mobile, gives me Damaged SD card error and now all tries failed.
Pleeeeaaaase ... any suggestions...

Did you try deleting all partitions and starting from the beginning?
