There is no FREE S-OFF available as of now. Only method is SUNSHINE.
And also nowhere in your OP have you mentioned FREE.... You just asked for a guide to be posted on how to get S-OFF.....

If your talking about s-off or something similar, all methods are free except xtc-clip, but only if you don't count the warranty loss with htcdev.

Hi free unlock code are untrustable many times .To get code visit Onlinegsmunlock.com here they ask you the network name to which your HTC Desire s mobile is locked and the IMEI number of your mobile .Then at last they deliver you code to unlock your mobile.

No you don't need to sim unlock it. The only reason you would do that is if you wanted to use it on another network.
Ok and then root it and how to install 4ext?
Edit: can't find desire s on htcdev.com/bootloader which device I need to select?

Moonshine is the fastest and safest way to s-off. The script runs itself and tells you of something is wrong.
Btw. Beanstalk? I hope you mean Jellybean.

I'm on 4.1.1 I got told I can't moonshine and that I have to be super cid first it's really complicated and my rom is beanstalk

If you where running sense 4+ before you rooted you need to use facepalm if you where on jellybeab before you rooted then moonshine is what you need

Ya I did I ment to say if you where on 4.1 but it don't matter know
You could try running a stock custom Rom or download a ruu and do moonshine and no if your phone is listed in moonshine you won't have to supercid for s-off
Sent from my HTC One S using Prism Pirates ModPack
Based on your hboot, radio and being on t-mo, i guess you're most probably have to use moonshine to s-off..

ok whoop im cid 11111111 now then guys how to s-off
anyone willing to help me achieve this
Facepalm should do it. Just carefully follow the instructions in the OP and you'll have s-off in no time. The instructions are fairly simple, you just have to copy and paste all the commands to avoid issues from misspelling..
why is not output, after 4 months still a custom rom?I state that I can not do it! but considering the development of other htc terminals would be expected already left me something! Sorry for my english

Can't wait! Got a Chinese version, managed to unlock the bootloader and root in order to install the play store, but no success! Last ditch attempt is to flash a custom ROM and get the Play Store that way. Would install a standard ROM from UK or US, but not really sure if it will work... Any suggestions gratefully accepted!
