[Q] 4.4.4 Update XT1033 Asia Retail

I was wondering if u need to have a locked bootloader in order to get the 4.4.4 update for my moto g xt1033 on asia retail 4.4.2 firmware?

No, you just need an unmodified system. if you have modified some parts that the update will change it will fail. But you dont need to lock your bootloader.

[Q] Moto G GPE 5.0.1

Hi, I have a moto G with GPE 5.0.1 with root and custom recovery, my question is: Can I flash a custom rom 4.4.4? Sorry for my english, it's really bad, I hope you can understand

Nope you cant. As the bootloader has been updated and when you will try to install 4.4.4 it would say incorrect OS and crash the custom recovery. So don't do it.

Ota wil brick my phone??

I have moto g (xt 1032) which i have converted to gpe version (first 4.4.4. gpe and than to 5.0.1 gpe) but than I reverted back to 4.4.4. stock rom. Considering that Motorola update to lollipop is approaching , can I update my phone to stock lollipop via OTA or is there possibility to brick my phone?

you should be fine updating it OTA as long as your not rooted when you do it and have stock recovery

OK very good.. I have think that now having lollipop bootloader due to the downgrade can create some problem..

I think both GPE and regular Moto G's use the bootloaders so that shouldn't cause a problem either. Glad i could help

MOTO G 1ST From Stock 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 to update to Lollipop

Hello
I have a Moto G 1st gen , and i was in root (4.4.4), now i am in 4.4.2 with out root but i have the boot-loader unlocked.
But i want to go to stock 4.4.4 so i can upgrade officially to lollipop newest version.
if that isn't possible , i want to go just to the stock 4.4.4 because is more stable!
A request please sent me the
1) Download link for software
2) directions step-by-step (i have a knowledge but i am not an expert)
3)and tell me if it's works correctly
Some details about my phone
=> Bought from Greece ,so it;s a Europe Version.
=> it is on 4.4.2
=> Unlocked boot-loader
=> 8GB
=> Standard version not 4G-LTE
=> Model XT1032

theses ROM are only for moto g 1st ?

Downgrade from lollipop 5.1 to kitkat 4.4.4

Can somebody provide me with the best tutorial on how to downgrade Mogo G 2013 (XT1033) from lollipop 5.1 to kitkat 4.4.4.
Last time i tried downgrading my Moto x 2014 and messed up with its bootloader (Hard Brick). I dont want something like that to happen to this. It would be really great if someone helps me with complete guide .
