[Completed] [Q] SQlite HELP me PLEASE !!!! - XDA Assist

I just purchased a LG G Pro E980 and want to use it on ST, the problem is the APN TYPE is greyed out.
After looking through your forum I found that someone said you have to use SQLite to fix this problem and they put what are supposed to be steps 1-10 basically, but.... whenever I try to follow these steps I FAIL miserably !!!
I am VERY new to this type of thing and I think that I am just simply not understanding the steps correctly.
Can someone that is familiar with SQLite PLEASE HELP ME ????
This is driving me absolutely insane....I previously owned an LG D801 G2 that I used on ST with this very sim card until it broke and I never had to do any of this !!!!!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, HELP ME !!!!!

Here you can find general information about SQLite: Simplify SQLite Usage on Android with DBXDroid.
Best is to ask in the Optimus G Pro Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting to get help especially for your device.

OK, so here's what I have figured out : the one click kit Kat root doesn't seem to work with my phone (LG E980) BUT.... Stump grinder root worked perfectly and once installed, I was then able to open sqlite and edit my apn settings and now device works absolutely perfect on the ST network.
Thanks to anyone who took the time to at least read my post.

[Completed] NEED HELP with ROOT/ others S3 Mini

I want to give my S3 Mini Root Access to potentially start installing Custom Roms. However, researching the topic has gotten extremely confusing. I have the international version but I don't know from which country. I got it off Amazon.com. My questions are
1. How do I go about giving this S3 Mini root Access
2. How do I go back to the Stock ( Samsung FW/ Rom if I do not like the Rom I installed)
3. Are there easy methods to rooting with a MAC device? ( My main computer but I can find access to a windows computer if needed)
amazon.com/gp/product/B009PLBLQC/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Any help or information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was able to root my phone. Now my question is that I would like to run a lag free system. Would changing the Rom fix that? Will I lose any features on my phone? I want a rom that is Simple ( google edition phone/ no bloatware) My current system is 4.2.1, would I need to stay on 4.2.1 to keep my features or that doesnt matter.
Please post that question in Galaxy S III Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting so that the right experts may help you.

Hi,
Ive been searching through XDA for an answer for you but cant find much specifics on your device, even GSMarena doesnt list your phone
I would ask someone with first hand knowledge of your device or look into the stock roms linked here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/website-japanese-xperias-ftf-t2833391
but you may need to ask in the general Q&A forum found here

best of luck!

[Completed] No Super-Su File installed

Hi,
I recently tried to root my LG G3 (d855) with help from this Post http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-lg-firmwares-kitkat-lollipop-t3056951
Since this did not seem to work I tried various different methods: All of them stated that my device is rooted but when I went to check on my Phone it wasn't. Then I found out that no Superuser File was installed and this seems to be the reason for it not tho work. Is there a way to install this manually? And how do i do it?
(I don't know much about that kinda stuff so detailed please)
Hi there,
You'd be best served asking for help from the experts who own your device here:

[Completed] I need help finding the correct rooting method for my phone

Hello. I'm quite new to this site and don't really know my way around. I have almost no background knowledge in rooting any phone at all. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could direct me somewhere where I can find a simple guide on how to root it, speed up my phone, and improve battery life.
Phone details:
Moto G (1st Gen.)
Android version is 5.1
(Not sure if anything more is needed)
Thanks for any help regarding this (and apologies if I caused any inconveniences)!
Bump
Edit: Would this still work for my phone even though it came out two years ago and that I have an xt1031?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/guide-root-xt1032-xt1033-moto-g-running-t2965507
By this point I'm starting to suspect that there is no root for my phone/no known guide I could be directed to. If so, could someone confirm this?
Bump
I'm really beginning to loathe bumping this. If you guys need any more information just ask, as I said in the original post, I don't know everything that is needed.
