Download music info on the walkman v player doesn't work correctly, the player works fine but download music info will force close on you. Just a heads up to everyone.

I keep getting FC's when I go into the sound setting to try and activate this. I'm using the latest CM 10 nightly. Will other sound mods such s Volume+ cause this issue? I believe I still have it installed on my phone.

Ya when I read up on this certain other sound mods and apps will fc and mess with this mod... Try to un install that then reboot and try it then

It's supposed to work on all Galaxy S and Experia 2011 devices... The ones posted in OP r for the former! Try them one at a time and see if they work just make a backup first because there's prolly close to a hundred files give or take a few that this adds to ur system

Well I removed Volume+ and rebooted but now the option under sound (music effects). I even tried to re-install AC!D and clear cache but still no go.

i honestly just got done downloading this and flashing to my phone and i don't c a difference ( not trying to offend anyone by no means ) the devs awesome work yes but for me i don't c a difference but hey maybe i just prefer what i already have ( Awesome Beats + Apollo ) they both work pretty outstanding for me in my opinion so but hey to each there own but if there is any real difference between what's been posted from AC!D to this then i will reflash but for now i will stick with what i got

I hear a big difference but i flashed the volume hack and the acid audio mod but not the walkman player (didnt like it) it sounds alot better on apollo and waaaay better on pandora im happy with it... Also everyone when u flash this clear dalvik cache and cache before and after flashing then fix permissions then reboot i think it def helps make sure everyrhing gets flashed and implemented correctly

Yea a definite big difference for me as well, you really have to mess with the settings to get it to perfection. Yea its worth wipeing the both caches just In case. Also !UNINSTALL DSP MANAGER! if you have it before flashing.

Unfortunately, only the "Original Holo" variant will work on Kitkat, none of the Material ones will work.
Besides, this is not a ROM :laugh:

Works superbly in Cataclysm rom Nexus 5, thank you!

For me it is not working:
In Driver status it says: "Processing: No"
I just installed the apk and wanted to try some options. I am on N5 with Optipop and Uber L

does the apk method work on nexus 4 stock non-rooted?

And if I change it to compatible mode I get fc on soundalive and it freezes up. Causing me to have to uninstall it and reinstall.
But no effect on any music playback

What music player are you guys using? Also remember Permissive mode is a must not optional, even after driver installation permissive mode is still needed for full use.

I had everything set, that was a screenshot after reinstall
I used spotify and no effect. Play music wouldn't play at all when I had it enabled and set to compatible. It just fc soundalive and said playback was temporarily unavailable

The Force closes are just because of Odex rom if you try with Deodex there will be no Force closes any way here is a Fix for Odexed Rom
Just flash this Fix zip after the Z3 mod and reboot.......... every thing will work

Note:- Better Take a backup. If there is any problem with this mods of your fault of flash.. you should not blame me or my work
This is only for Lollipop Roms of only Z1 Series Devices
How to install :-
Download the zip
Copy to Sd
flash it via recovery ( just only once dont try to flash for more times)

Enjoy the sound mod

Hmm seems you are using a odexed rom that would be problem
Never mind I will post my small mod for this fix
And I don't have any bug with it

There's a fix for odexed rom. Flash after flashing the mod.
Edit: So I tested this mod. Does not seem to have the other Sound Effects option. However the speaker does seem to much more louder than before. Can I suggest something? Maybe instead of just increasing the volume, how about you adjust the difference between each volume to be equal. For example, the current volume difference seems to be like this; 1 to 3 to 8 to 20 and so on. It should be 1 to 3 to 6 to 9 to 12 where the volume increases by 3 everytime instead of an odd, random number.

That was so cool I just got forget about it haha
Thanks now its fixed and got few more adjustments
Now bottom speaker got completely working without any glitches... And earpiece got a bit adjusted
I will update soon when I am free
Edit say good bye to glitches
A stable version was now done
And supports beats
Since in this it was there but not worked..
Now its working

Am I the only one with whom the mod just doesn't seem to do anything?
Both before and after flashing the fix, after flashing the mod in Lollipop the earpiece doesn't produce any stereo sound. I did get this one crash when clicking "ClearAudio+" for the first time, so that part of the mod did work. Unfortunately that's the wrong part :crying:

Whoops...
But it still doesn't explain why it didn't work the first time though. Could I ask what goes wrong when you flash it multiple times? I did, and all audio still seems to work fine (like stock), but should I still consider restoring the backup and reinstalling apps?

For those of us with odex ROMS that flashed the initial release, should we flash the fix zip only? What about the other improvements you have made since, are they included in the fix zip file or can we flash the mod zip again to get the additional options working?

Just flash the fix. He hasn't uploaded the updated mod with the improvements and additional options.

After flashing both speakers are only working at highest volume. With lower volume the additional speaker only plays distorted audio

The issues such as cracks produced by the earpiece are gone afrer you make a short phone call (sometimes you have to start playing music during the call and then hang up).
BTW. It has to be done after each reboot, but at least this temporary solution works fine for me

Yeah but using xposed isn't recommend especially wanam on lollipop when i use it and turn the power saving mod on the device reboots
i dont know if im the only one :| what about you ?

I know that phone recording from the line is of much higher quality and works also if you use a bluethooth or wired headset. The phone recording from the mic only works if you use the phone without any headset and it is of lower quality (e.g. the voice of the other person you are talking to is weaker).

With the camera did nothing , Stoke.

I tried to install on Z Pro, I've tried to install obviously changing the boot image. It worked from everything (and looked pretty well) except from the camera: the back camera can not focus anything and the front camera looks pretty noisy even in high light conditions.
Does anybody knows how to make it work properly?

The font is replaced.
The browser has been replaced.
The library and the Dolby configuration are embedded.
In the status bar hidden large G / E / 3G / 4G.
I returned the native color of the curtain (from Google) and transparency.
The priority of the notification indicator (now it will be signaled when the device is charging) is changed.

Tested. The camera works fine but I think it's a little bit laggy (when you move the phone with the camera you can note it) and, I know its not too much important but Android Neko Easter Egg doens't work: cats get repeated and repeated, same cat for each food (as a result you can only get 4 cats).
Even, If you can, could you please modify navigation bar height to the normal one (the one that most of Android devices have?

Well only problem on my Umi Z Pro is that I dont have any sound notifications

Sorry, I couldn't test that because the main speaker stopped working a month ago, another one is coming but it would take two weeks or more to arrive. I assumed that it sounded because I connected it to a BT Speaker and it worked fine.

any news ? how does it work on umi Z?
