Rebooting when sim is inserted - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys. My brand new 1+1 is driving me crazy. I used it for a couple of weeks as tablet because I had to pass all my stuffs from my bb to a Google account.
After I put my nano sim with the adapter it was fine for 2 days and then started to reboot. Then turn on, few seconds or screen timeout and then the sim is not recognized anymore. The phone freeze and need to reboot. And so on....
So I put another sim, this time a micro sim, and exactly the same problem happens after couple days.
I don't know what to do... It doesn't make sense to me. Like the sim slot is bad, but it works fine for a couple of days...
Please any idea?

[Q] Problem with microSD...

About a month ago I faced problems with my 8gb Kingston card.
Phone couldn't be turned on when it's in slot. Also when I've inserted it while the phone is on it blocks the phone and starts blue led blinking, like bt is on...
3 days ago I went to my friend to check it inside, and when I inserted the card, on my surprise, everything was back to normal...
Tonight it happened again...
I forgot to mention that I've also tried other cards, and hard reset on my Vox...
Did anyone face a similar problem? Is there any hope for my good old Vox?
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Problems registering with network [SOLVED]

I have been having problems with my phone recently. I was previously running stock 2.1 rooted on Wind mobile. It had been working fine since I bought it in Dec 2010.
I seem to recall leaving my phone unplugged for a short amount of time (like a couple hours) and then when I picked it up the battery had been completely drained (while idle). I plugged it in and started it up after a bit and the battery was suddenly running super hot, and it would reboot quickly after starting. The only time it stayed on long enough to check the temperature I saw 57c. I left it to charge and came back and the battery temperature seemed to be normal again.
However now since then I have been having a lot of trouble registering to the Wind network. Half the time it is showing as roaming, or cannot connect at all. Sometimes, like as I am typing this, it will show that I am connected to the home zone. I can make calls now, but I cannot receive any. I have flashed the phone to CM7.2, and initially the phone worked but the next day it started having the registration problem again.
I tried the SIM card on another phone and it worked. Anyone have any suggestions?
Or you got fryed your phone module.. or fryed sim card.
First of all i'll recommend to replace or try another sim.
Just a little update...
It seems to have been working better in the past week, I could connect properly 90% of the time, but couldn't sent any text messages.
I went to replace my SIM card at the store, they gave me a new one and now it seems to be working 100% fine. So I guess the sim card was the problem.
Something to note is that the sim card was the original one I got when I signed up, and my permanent normal number wasn't on the card, only the temporary one assigned to me for the first day. So that may have been causing the problems I started having.

[Q] zenROM no SIM card

I'm using zenROM and last night my phone suddenly rebooted and when it booted, it didn't ask pin. I shut down my phone and took sim off and put it back and rebooted again, this time it asked my pin, but still says no sim detected. I took my sim off again and put it back and rebooted. No Sim detected. Finally after 7 or 8 reboots it detected my sim.
So where is the problem? This has never happened before
I don't think the 2 issues are related.
Why are you removing your sim card? I haven't ever removed mine since I put it in. Hopefully it is seated properly now and you won't see that issue again.
As far as reboots, that is life with alpha and beta version roms. Blame HTC for not giving the updates to our device for the developers to have a more stable ROM. You could try reinstalling the ROM or trying a different one.

Phone does not detect sim card

Hello all!
At first I wanted to apologize for my English, I will try to write everything clearly.
Recently I replaced display with digitizer on my sensation, I installed 3.1.1 ROM ViperS. Phone worked well for several days. Today, in the middle of the day I noticed that the phone does not detect the SIM card. Strange in all this is that when I reset my phone the SIM card works for a while and then back to "disconnect". I tried to upload the rom again (ViperS 3.1.1) and nothing has changed, I tried also with another rom (Revolution HD with firmware 7.3) and still the same. Other sim cards do not change. Any ideas what is this?
EDIT: The sim card slot gets warm when it is still working i think that. I think this is not normal. When wait a few minutes I can turn on airplane mode and then turn off after that procedure phone detect sim card for a while.

Sim card module not working anymore after water contact

Hi there,
I did something stupid in the last vacation. When I took some photos of my son in the swimming pool, my phone slithered out of my hands directly into the pool. As fast as I could, I caught it out of the water. At this point the device was already shut down.
Unfortunately there were no suitable tools available to open the screws. So I removed only the hardcover and the battery, but were not able to unplug the battery.
After 4 or 5 days I tried to restart the device. The battery was a 0%. After some recharging I was able to restart it. Everything seemed to work fine except one thing:
The sim card wasn't recognized. when I booted the device. If the device is running and I remove and re-insert the the sim card, the pin dialogue appears and afterwards, the phone symbol is shown in the head bar but without receiving any signal. The device isn't able to connect to any provider. After rebooting the device the sim card isn't recognized anymore.
The sim card works in any other mobile phone. And also a different sim card doesn't work in my phone. Therefore I'm sure the sim card module has been broken.
Is there anything I can do to fix the device?
Yes there are videos on YouTube on how to fix your sim slot, its not to difficult you need a soldering iron though. I've changed the sim slot out on a note 3 and it took about 10 minutes, you can try leaving the phone in a bag of rice it's possible there is still moisture inside the phone causing issues try that first.

Thanks. I've already found some Youtube-guides how to replace it. But I'm still hesitating. If it's really the slot or if have been broken something different inside the electronical logic. Means: it would be annoying to change the slot and the problem remains.
Is there any chance to test this?
