Hi
I have the same problem.
1. I installed PhilZ Touch 6 Recovery.
2. I installed Reflection Rom V1.1 from recovery menu.
In this new rom, I can't switch on wifi, and the wifi logo have changed like this:
"circle with line through it"
I don't remeber well, but this problem started after installed PhilZ recovery.
Sorry for my bad english
Any idea?
UPDATE:
I reinstalled the stock rom (4.4.2), and wifi problem solved.
And the PhilZ recovery disappeared...there is stock recovery. Is it normal?
Wifi and PDA issues since rooting
Hi,
I searched the forumsbut couldn't find an answer to my question. I rooted my N8020 as per the instrutions in this thread and installed the Reflections 1.1 ROM. However, I now have a problem with my wifi and USB connection.
Basically, everytime I boot the tablet, it forgets all my wifi passwords and I have to reenter the password for my home wifi connection everytime.
Secondly, the service mode keeps changing to Modem everytime it boots - which means it isn't recongnised in the USB connection to my PC. I have to manually go to the phone app, type *#7284# , select PDA, then reboot the tablet. And only then it's recognised by my PC.
I have to do both these things everytime i reboot it. I can't figure out how to make it remember and automatically connect to my home wifi connection, and stay in PDA mode.
Anyway to do this without wiping my tablet??
thanks!

Looking for a few clarifications

This is exactly what I'm looking for. But as a newbie here, a few questions before I "brick" it:
Currently I'm on 4.2.2, do I need to upgrade to KitKat before flash?
Do I need to have the phone rooted first?
Do I need to install the recovery first? TWRP or Clockmod?
Do I need to have the phone unlocked first?
Sorry, too many questions.

Found the thread with the stock T-mobile 4.4.2 ROM. I'm on AT&T D800 at 4.2.2. The first question was relevant but I didn't see any answer. I'm already rooted, installed TWRP, and have the sim unlocked.
Just looking to transform my d800 into a true T-mobile phone. I'd like the option for WiFi calling. Not sure if any radio basebands or kernels need to be upgraded first tho.
Thanks for the patience!
ok, what gives?
I downloaded both of the files that you provided links to. They are both *.zip.apk files. I wiped all the partitions that you required, I wen to install (using TWRP) and the *.zip.apk files cannot be seen. I renamed them both to *.zip files (the ROM having a space in it that failed at first). Now, when I try to install (aka Flash) the ROM, I get a failure.
What am I missing here?
EDIT:
I apologize for the shortness exhibited here. When I downloaded earlier, it was over the web browser on the phone, Chrome I believe. It appears that something happened while downloading and it appended *apk to the end. Luckily, I had make a backup, I restored that backup and re-downloaded over my laptop. The downloads were *zip files (no *.zip.apk) and I managed to copy them over to the Internal Storage just fine. I've rebooted to TWRP, done the FULL wipe and Factory Reset (just to be safe) and now am flashing the ROM.
Goes to show how important making the backup first really is!
I'll post back with results after a few days of testing. Thank you!
Do you think this will work on a phone on Metro PCS/T-mobile network?
I have the AT&T LG G2 running with a metro pcs SIM card. APN settings are exactly the same as T-Mobile because its on the t-mobile network. Do you think think this would work for me?
Tmobile Rom for at & t G2 Download
Is there anyway i can get this rom without downloading from 4shared? It seems my computer doesn't like that site. If anyone has the rom and can email it to me i would very much appreciate it., or if there is another site that is working just let me know and ill give it a try.
Should I avoid installing the OTA update from T-mobile?
I installed the T-Mobile ROM on my AT&T G2 last week. This week I've got a notification about a system update from T-Mobile. Can I install it or might it be incompatible with my phone.
Thanks.
I also have the T-Mo rom On my D800 & received the OTA update. Will it brick my phone if i install?

Anyone having a GPS issue?
I have been using this solution to use T-mobile WiFi Calling option with my LG D800 for about 2 months now.
Everything works fine except occasional random reboots which I can tolerate, but I am having a trouble with GPS.
When I use Google Maps, it takes at least 5 mins to lock up the GPS signal if ever.
Does anyone have the same issue or know how to improve this?
I tried GPS app in Play Store to update aGPS, but it didn't help much.
When I reboot, it helps a bit to make the GPS work better.
I am wondering if this is because of some incompatibility of the ROM and the phone, or it is just the phone.
Also, as the previous posting asked, I also wonder if it is OK to use the most up-to-date T-mobile ROM.
I would like to see if it helps resolving my GPS issue. (IF I can install it using the same method shown here)
I installed the update and it seems fine. I texted and made a call.

I just followed the directions of the update. It installed and rebooted. It booted to TWPR, which momentarily concerned me, but I just selected reboot from the TWRP menu and the phone booted like normal. I haven't noticed any problems yet.

how to get OTA for wifi texting?
I would like to know what was done to install the update as well. I'm running TWRP and I found the image file downloaded to the /cache partition (most OTA's do that). When I boot into TWRP and try to install it, the installation/flash fails due to the fact that it doesn't recognize the phone as a lg g2. I assumed that this ROM didn't update a portion of some file that this OTA checks for before installing.
You are the first one that I know of that has been able to successfully install.
EDIT: Looking back at what the following two have done, accepting and installing and then rebooting to TWRP followed by an additional reboot at the TWRP prompt, I do not believe that has successfully installed the software. If you go to your software version does it end in 'e' or 'g'? If the new software is installed, it will end in 'g' as that version is 2 minor revs higher than what was modded for our AT&T LG G2 D800 series by the OP to this thread.
Can't post to Discussion, anyone get the OTA to install on their D800?
You can see in my last post, when I go to install the OTA from t-mobile, the checker doesn't think it's a LG G2 phone, so it fails to install.
custom dll for goingback to d800 stock
please provide custom dll file for going back to stock D800 rom, as when I use lg flash tool to go to stock d800 rom it identifies my phone as d801 and does not allow me to flash the stock rom.
why have a Q&A section if it isn't going to be monitored?
Just wondering how Questions are supposed to get answered if no one monitors this part of the forum?
[ROM] T-Mobile 4.4.2 Stock D80120e (Wi-Fi Calling)
I am trying to install a t mobile rom on my att LG G2 so I can enjoy some of the T mobile features. I found your thread on google and try to follow your instruction to complete the process. I am an inexperience user when it comes to smart phones, so my attempt was unsuccessful. I did factory reset the phone which supposedly did a full wipe. Then I opened a browser to download the stock t mobile rom to my phone, but couldn't download it. I am not sure what to do. Can you help?
MAKE A BACKUP FIRST!!!
1. Full wipe (Wipe cache, data, system, dalvik cache)
2. Flash Stock T-Mobile ROM
3. Flash KitKat BaseBand
4. Reboot
5. Enjoy.
Love this ROM, LTE Stays On, WIFI Calling uses Minutes
I agree it would be nice to see the newly released stock 5.0 for the T-Mobile G2 also. This ROM has worked well for me. Been using the T-Mobile 5GB 100 minute $30 plan. When on the original AT&T Rom, after a month on the plan, the data rolled back from LTE to 4G. On this ROM LTE is turned all the time! The WIFI calling works great, however, minutes from the plan are used, so I turned off wifi calling.
Thank You Novembre5 for this Great ROM !
I realize this is not the place for this but is there a similar rom for the G3
hi there,
i have a SM-9005( Australian Telstra) which i bought used a couple of weeks/ about a month ago. NOT KNOWING WHAT I WAS DOING i tried to install android 5.0 via odin but, the thing that i did'nt realise was that it was the hong kong firmware after installing it i encountered a problem something like " binary (number) < (number) i figured that it was because when i decided to install it the storage was about 95% full and it only had like 300mb left so i just went into recovery and restored the phone. after successfully installing 5.0 i noticed that the phone was starting to be glitchy as in system would'nt respond (lag) no sound and camera and mic and calling wouldn't work. so i decided it was best to just roll back to the old os 4.4.2 and thats what i did. after doing so i realised that the same problems were still there "no in/outgoing call, no sound, no Google Now, no S-Voice, no camera, slow lock screen and slow settings" after trying to research and not finding anything that would help me ( mainly as my phone is Australian variant) i decided to install a custom rom Cyanogenmod, although this fixed the camera the other problem were still there and after trying to even restore from a nandroid backup via twrp recovery the problem has still not been resolved and well....:crying:

Hello everyone,
As this is my first thread, and I have been reading previous assists based on IMEI fixing and couldn't find the answer I am looking for, I really hope that the XDA community can help me fix my Galaxy S4 I9500. I will try to explain the problem the best I can, and I will create a list of every solution I have tried in the 3 week phone fixing saga I have.
1. The problem :
My friend decided he does not need this phone anymore, everything was fine with it except the battery was swollen(but I bought a new one so it doesn't matter). The day before he gave it to me, he accidentaly dropped it in the toilet and it couldn't boot. I opened the phone, cleaned it with alchohol and the phone booted up normally. The thing I noticed was that in the status bar the network symbol was replaced with No signal symbol. I tried 3 SIM cards and none worked. I decided to downgrade to 4.4.2 KitKat version and this is where everything went even worse. I used Odin to downgrade a firmware downloaded from sammobile.com, but I didn't create an /efs backup because I have flashed an Alcatel Idol 2 before and there were no problems with the IMEI or so. It turns out that Samsung devices are different and I am left with NO EFS BACKUP. I know, I should have checked what to do before flashing the device, but what's done is done. The device is doing everything great, there are no problems with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth either, except I cant connect to a network because IMEI is null/null and the Baseband is unknown. The thing is, I am not sure if the IMEI is wiped completely because of a hardware problem, or it's software related because of the /efs folder, because I am not a developer, but a civil engineer :silly:
2. Solutions I've tried so far :
- Flashed many different Android versions;
- Flashed a Lollypop with adonis.pit with Re-partition checked on Odin;
- Tried writing an IMEI and repairing the EFS with Octoplus box;
- Tried flashing an EFS backup from my friend's Galaxy S4 I9500 ( IT IS ILLEGAL IN MANY COUNTRIES, NOT IN MINE, BUT I WANTED TO TRY AND CHANGE THE IMEI LATER SO IT WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM );
- Tried flashing with a IMEI_null_fix.tar.md5 file which i found on a forum and that didn't fix it either;
- Tried KIES to return the stock ROM but either it does not recognize my device, or it says that my device could not be initialized or so;
- Took the phone to service, but in my town the only service we have is not very professional and they didn't even know the IMEI null does not mean that I will have no wireless connection/bluetooth connection, so they didn't fix it either;
- Tried with EFS Pro, Terminal Emulator and programs similar to those, 3rd party and PlayStore ones;
- Maybe other things but I could not remember because I think I tried everything...
I don't know if the problem can be fixed, but deep inside me I hope that there is a solution, and I think this is the best place to search for help, because it is a great phone and I don't want to throw it away just like that.
Thanks in advance everyone, hope you can come up with a solution.
Anyone please ?

OP reposted in the correct section.
It's been two weeks and it's getting really frustrating now! I can't get my signal, neither on Lineage OS nor in the stock ROM. My IMEI number is still intact. I can't find a modern.bin file in my stock firmware to update my modern but when I flashed my stock firmware,the baseband version got updated to the latest version. I tried restoring multiple nandroid backups with efs but nothing works. I have read almost every section and post on this forum and others but I've got nothing working on my device. I tried deleting the phone app and contacts too but
This thread is my final hope of getting any kind of help. I just hope someone is able to help me out :crying:
