Is it possible to only backup specific folders with Titanium Backup? For example, I'd like to backup only the game saves of a particular app, rather than all of the external data since its a difference of 60KB of the game save vs 3+GB of all external data in this particular apps case.
Thanks!

Hey guys. I have been using Sprite Mobile to back up my PIM and I am wondering which app is best for backing up my apps and games. For example, i have installed some games and I want to flash a new rom w/o losing my save game. What app backs up the appdata as well? All I know is that there are plenty of apps that help backup the .apk file but not my save games.
EDIT: Nevermind. I tried titanium backup after a long time again and it seems to to the trick. Not really sure if it restores my apps/games back to ext2 partition though.
I'm looking at buying Titanium Backup Pro, but I need to know if it does a few things first (some required, some not,) and if not, how to ask the developers to add them.
I know that TB supports AES-256 encryption of app data, supports backing up to box.net, and supports backup scheduling. But can it support all three of those at once? E.g. do regular encrypted backups to box.net. I've seen conflicting information about this, need to know what the verdict is.
I also need to know if TB will store its own settings (e.g. filters, backup lists, etc) on to android's backup service instead of just the SD card. The idea is that I can move to a new rom or even a new phone without regard to whether or not the SD card remains intact. Effectively: sign into google play, google play picks up TB and restores its settings from the cloud, with one click TB gets to work restoring according to my parameters, regardless of the state of the SD card. With any luck, my launcher and other configurations are how I left them (I'll probably never move away from AOSP roms, or roms that are close to it.)
Does TB support shadow copies of backups? If so, can it be integrated into the above?
And finally, can TB detect which apps make use of android's cloud service, and leave their data alone? (e.g. don't merge the backed up data into them, instead let google play take care of that.)
Basically what I'm aiming for is a secured stateless android, so to speak.
Hello, unlike in Titanium Backup where you can choose the number of backups you want to keep, I can not see any option in which you can choose the number of Nandroid backups you wish to keep. For example, if I want to make a backup everyday automatically and if I forget to delete one every day, in a week, I will end up with 7 backups which will fill up my device's storage. Even if I remember to delete a backup every day, it will become quite tedious. So, how can I make Nandroid backups overwrite each other so that I will always have 1 SINGLE backup?
Manually with root explorer. TWRP has backup to SD card rather than internal memory but those backups are big so you will still need to delete them occasionally. I why do you want a full nandroid backup every day? TiBu will keep track of app changes daily if set that way. How many actually system changes are you making everyday?
Sent from my iPho.... Hahaha couldn't keep a strait face.
I have a Spiderman Unlimited game on my Moto G (2nd gen) that had about 600MB + of game data, and I thought backing it up using Titanium Backup Pro would save that data (I backed it up onto my SD card), but now that I've restored the backup, only the basic game is present and I'll have to re-download the additional data all over again. How do I prevent this from happening in the future?

You see, apart from normal app data, other additional large data are stored in /mnt/obb or /*memory_card_path*/Android/obb
Titanium may not backup these files. (I'm not sure though)
So backup them manually.

Thanks for your reply. My SD card data is still intact. Is there some way to manually move my game data to the game's installation folder in order to avoid downloading it all over again?

The game data is stored in /data/data/com.something.game_name folder. ( You have to find it)
The large files as I said will be stored in /mnt/obb or /sdcard_location/Android/obb
So, if you have the game data perfectly with folders inside like cache, databases and all, you can place it inside /data/data/com.something.game_folder and it will work.

Thanks I'll check it out.
Also, to save me the trouble in the future, I went to Titanium Backup Settings and enabled "Backup app external data". That should do it, right?
Another doubt I had is: How do I save my home screen layout (i.e positioning of app icons, etc.) using Titanium backup?
The game is giving me issues, and it says that I have too many Google Play Games Accounts linked to the game. Does backing up and restoring apps from Titanium backup usually give issues or is it perfectly safe? I don't want it to cause any unnecessary tangles and knots on my phone...
I've been using Titanium Backup for weeks and it's an amazing app so far. Today I want back-up my new game called The Alchemist Code. It ran normally but after the back-up finished I realized that the backup size is too small compared the game (app+data) size. The game is about 2GB (I checked it in file management) while the backup is only 30MB. My other games have backups with sizes similar to the games themselves, so I assumed Titanium Backup doesn't fully backup The Alchemist Code.
I tried to check the game size through Titanium backup and indeed, it showed that the game is only 30MB, so maybe Titanium Backup only backed up what it recognized.
What should I do now? Did I do the backup wrong?
