Help in adding fullscreen weather to touchflo2D

heya guys.
i'm trying to tweak my touchflo to add the fullscreen weather but after searching through the forum i didn't find any tutorials, guides or references for me to follow. the only reference i found was this post made by twolf. i've tried exploring the cab file he posted but no luck. found the files needed but i don't know what to edit to add those files on Mega.
then i found this thread which explains how to edit the htchomescreen.xml. skimmed through the pages and still no guides on how to add the fullscreen weather.
please help? rakesh_4utoo managed to add it to his cooked rom and i've already ask him a question on how to do it but he didn't answer.

[Q] Anyone knows how to edit ttf fonts?

I'm not sure wich is the correct place fot this question, so I'm posting in general section..
I'm theming a rom to make it look like AOSP..
I replaced rom's fonts with AOSP fonts extracted from a virtual device.. Texts now look like JB, but asterisc in dialer is out of place!
I can't decompile SemcPhone.apk to edit layout because apktool doesn't let me recompile it, even if I decompile and recompile without changing any file!
The only solution is insert sony's font asterisc into roboto font.. I tried to do that with High-Logic FontCreator 7.5 and I created an edited ttf, but fonts with accents (I.E: áéíòü) were gone!
Anyone can do this? Or knows about a tutorial? Or can teach me how to do that?

Hello XDA members...im trying to develop my own rom and add some stuff to the settings,but i cant understand a thing in it,ive been managed to mod Settings in 4.4 and down.
Can someone please explain how do i add my own activity?
(i know how to program activity and add options,i just want to know how to add the activity to the settings menu)

[Completed] Where can I get help to translate an APK?

I'm not sure which sub forum to post this in so could someone help me out?
I know there is a sub forum where people can translate strings for you, but I'm not after that, I'm after how to find the correct files to translate.
I know how to decompile APKs via apktool, but I can't seem to find the correct .xml file to edit and this is where I need help. For some background, I'm trying to translate a certain part of the Mi Home application that I use to control my Xiaomi Mi Robot vacuum cleaner. You have to set your local region to mainland China for the application to find the vacuum cleaner and even though you can set your language to English, the part of the app that controls the cleaner is in Chinese still.
This is what I've tried:
Decompiling the app
Took a Chinese string from the vacuum control part of the app, and searched for this string using grep - with the hope of it returning the .xml file this string appears in
However, nothing is returned - the grep command works as it finds other strings as a test and returns the file locations
Is there any reason why I can't find which file to edit?
