Google publishes Android 5.0.2 factory image - Galaxy S 4 General

Google has just posted the factory image of Android 5.0.2 Lollipop for the WiFi version of the 2012 Nexus 7. This follows the rollout of the Android 5.0.1 on many Nexus devices recently. With the factory image up, an OTA update can't be too far away, and we'll keep you posted on AndroidCentral if we see Android 5.0.2 on other Nexus smartphones and tablets.

Kernel Request - N8010

Hi,
Would some friendly dev be able to sort me out.
I need a kernel for the 8010 which GNU parted installed (like this one for the n7000 - droidevelopers.com/showthread.php?13130-An-easy-guide-to-relocate-faulty-partition-for-super-brick-Note)
Basically I want to be able to access the partitions as described in that post and recreate / fix my /efs partition (see my other post re losing the partition)
Alternatively if anyone has / can create the .pit file for a 32gb note 10.1 I'd be very grateful
thanks
BB

[Q]Is there any difference between Asia and Brazil Lollipop?

I've asked this once on Q&A thread but got no answers,
i just wanna know if there is any advantages to having the asian version as my device originally had asian firmware.

There is no particular difference between those two, just the release region. But the features are the same and everything else is identical.
Yes
Network symbol (H&E) is smaller in Asian retail. Also no indication of network type when data is disabled just an exclamatory symbol, in Brazilian version it is in grey color.
Also in Brazilian ROM tower name is shown below network provider name but in Asian retail that option is not available.
So no real difference then, just some aesthetic differences.
No reason for me to install asian fw then, thank you!

Thread moved to Q&A as well

December update.

Got the December 2019 update and it's just 62.4MB in size for an up to date device.
The size confirms that we are not getting 10 in 2019.
Installation works as intended on stock device. Only took about 5 minutes total to update successfully. Total battery consumption during update: 1%.
Unlike November update the device now seems more responsive.
This update fixed my problem mentioned here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2-lite/help/android-dsp-question-t4014081
No bugs so far. I am pretty happy with this update even if it's not Android 10.
Happy holidays everyone!
Thanks for your input, but it's a duplicate. Please read other threads before posting.

The other thread is a question about Android 10 posted on 11th september, with a wrong title. This thread announces the arrival of the December update and details about that update. That thread brings no discussion to the table about the new updated Pie version.
Please read the rules and the importance of relevant, meaningful and totally not clickbait titles like that other thread had.
