If its rooted you can run xposed on it. All you need is root to run xposed settings/modules. However I'd stick with xposed modules here on xda versus random websites
From my S3 running BlissStalk

Ok installed it xposed that is can I assume the.modules in its download list are safe?

Most are yes, if you notice issues with your device just remove the module. Some do cause problems

[Q] Rooting and receiving updates

Hi everyone,
If I root using Chainfires method and all I do is install Xposed Framework can I still receive Sprint updates by just removing Xposed? I am not going to install Roms as Xposed has everything I need. Thanks in advance.
If you're not running the stock recovery it won't let you take any updates. Which is a good thing because taking an ota with a custom recovery can potentially brick your phone.

GEOHOT and ATT S5 ROOT (Towelroot) and Works on i337 NC1 phone as well!!!

Geohot has found a vulnerability in the New ATT/VERIZON S5 and confirmed by users it works on our i337 ATT NC1 FIRMWARE ONLY. Check out his thread HERE http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2783157
I am ONLY relaying his great work here and have NOTHING to do with it. I just try to keep up with a few other phones when I think I may upgrade to. So I brought this here in case others were not following the Verizon/ATT S5 forums.

For this towelroot to work on the ATT S4 you need to be on NC1 firmware. It does not seem to work on MK2 or NB1.

I've been wondering if this will work for our phones on newer firmwares as well.

It's about to go live. Anyone going to try it on a stock unrooted nb1 or nc1?
Just did nc1!!!!!!!!!

Yes it works, you must download supersu or superuser from playstore yourself as it does not install it for you, also super su will fail to updat binarys, however root still works...I have already been able to modify my build.prop using es file explorer

Not sure about safestrap...but definitely not twrp, twrp requires a bootloader exploit, this js just a root exploit...I would assume we are back in the same situation as mk2...root but no recovery except maybe safestrap...im not home at the moment so im not gonna risk softbricking my phone with safestrap

Safestrap just requires root, and since it works on 4.4.2 bootloader and such already then the process is now just root and Safestrap to get 4.4.2 ROMs.

Does this trip Knox flags?

I couldn't get it to work on NB1, but upgraded to NC1 and it worked fine. Safestrap however, is not installing. I tried pushing it to /system/app & /priv/app and setting permissions. It says it installs, but system status says it's not installed.
So after this, what is the new method of odining to stock, root, and recovery? Odin flash nc1> towel > safe strap?

Thanks for answering that!
I was able to get Safestrap installed.
Okay, I've ran this app...downloaded SuperSU and Superuser and still can't do anything root related...IE use titanium backup?
What am I doing wrong? ATT S4 4.4.2
Does this mean I can finally take the Ota updates and stop using mk2???!?

[Q] Gravity Box & Xposed

Now that i am rooted with kitkat on 19.6.3 i am wondering if i can use gravity box and xposed without having an unlocked bootloader. I have seen people use it but i just want to make sure. It says that when you flash it, it can mess up your phone so if somebody could tell me if they use it and might can and the link it would be very appreciated. I just dont want to brick my phone.
Both are working fine for me.

Do you have unlocked boot loader or anything special? Are you rooted with w/p off and on 19.6.3

Nope, did the jcase root and made permanent with wpnomo. Flashed super su with safestrap. Took OTA to 19.6.3. Then installed Xposed as normal. I have a locked bootloader (unfortunately) and did nothing else.

Okay I was just trying to find somebody that has done it because when you go to install xposed framework it says it could mess up your device but clearly it didn't mess up yours at all?

Install the Xposed framework (if you haven't already) and try the Root Cloak module.
That is if you are on Kk or earlier. There is no way on 5.0

Newb

I'm a newbie in rooting, so my phone is rooted using Kingroot (switched to SuperSU) and its running Lollipop 5.0.2. I want to install Xposed, and I know Xposed is not compatible with ART, and I don't think my Xperia is running ART. Can anybody tell me how to install Xposed Framework with no custom recovery?

I would absolutely not recommend installing Xposed without having a custom recovery.
You should certainly have a nandroid backup of your stock setup in case things go sour.
Which can happen very easily with Xposed.

Can I install recovery (TWRP) using the Device Control app? I think it has the option to install custom recoveries for you.
