Cases for the Galaxy Galaz A1 - Android General

Just wanted to see what cases are being used for this tablet and possible figure out which would be the best for the buck. Received this tablet about a week ago. Best Chinese tablet I've ever put my hands on. Thanks in advance.

[Q] HTC x7510 Case

Hi guys! Is there a place where I can buy a new case for my Advantage? Anyone selling them on this forum maybe? I've tried Amazon and boxwave, but they seem out of stock. Thanks in advance!
nope, it's so hard to find anything for our phone now in days.
i want to get an ORIGINAL new battery and it's like impossible to find
i ended up buying fake knockoff from ebay and they suck

[Q] Should I bother if I get a B07/B8?

Ok, so I ordered a used 32GB Transformer on Amazon at a great price, but was wondering even if it is either a B7 or B8 should I even bother keeping it cause I cannot get root? I mean will it really come? I will get it tomorrow and will know more if it can be rooted or not, but if it is not, should I just return it and get something else?
no i dont think you should get something else this is the best out there and allot of people have said that it is the first stock experience they were really happy with and with garenteed ics in the next few months that experience can only get better

Well I am just hoping even if I am lucky enough not to get a B7 or B8, that it can be done for all the others.
I got my used 32gb from Amazon a few days ago, it is a B50. I would be willing to wager yours will be the same. I think Amazon got a bulk purchase returned and are now reselling them. Also so you know, mine came in perfect condition, still had the protective film on the bottom and on the usb cord. It was missing the screen protector film, but otherwise you wouldn't know it was "used". Came in the original box with instruction envelope charger and cord.
the transformer is a great stock device. I've owned about 5 android smartphones(Droid, Droid x, incredible, fascinate, thunderbolt) and rooted them all to feel like they were worth it and usable. I haven't even thought about rooting mine and I got it when it first came out. this tablet is great right out of the box and wouldn't trade it for any other tablet out right now, especially if you got the keyboard.

That gives me a bit a relief, I ordered a 32GB "Like New" one for $311 shipped. I have good things about Amazon Warehouse Deals like new products, some say they "are" brand new for the most part, as you said. I will find out later today when it comes in...got to love Amazon Prime one day shipping!
I bought a new one and it didn't come with a screen protector

I was going off a youtube "unboxing/review" video I saw, it showed a plastic film thing on the screen. Nothing you would want to leave on there as it was thick and had lots of air bubbles under it.
As for Amazon prime.......omg I can't tell you how nice it is. For me I don't have to even do the $3.99 overnight, I am in Indiana the warehouse is just across the border in Kentucky so the free two day shipping means overnight to me 99% of the time. I actually got something the same day once

New Android tablet or used cheaper with updated ROMs?

Heylo... I used to have an Acer A100 and was very happy with it, bought it refurbished for about $190 many months ago. It fell out of my cargo pants and cracked, so I've been looking for a replacement to purchase in February. I had thought about replacing the glass, but it seems the cost would be about $130 just for the parts (I have succesfully removed the glass, so it doesn't seem too challenging).
But then the Nexus 7 came out and I really dig a couple things about it: it's an Asus brand, and it's resolution. I started to compare Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Tab 7.0 2, but didn't really want to deal with Samsung adapters. Then the A110 came out - MicroUSB, HDMI, expandable -- I'm pretty near sold.
But the Nexus 7 has a great case by Speck and much cheaper similar case, whereas the Acer A110 doesn't have anything similar. A good case is important to me.
Theeeen I started poking around and found out there is a Jelly Bean ROM for the A100. By far, A100 with a case is my cheapest option, the Nexus 32gb my most expensive. So my main concern really is, if I go with the A100 and depend upon community development of JB, is it a wise enough choice? I of course want something stable and fully functional.
Browse the forums for the device and see if they fit your wants. That would be the easiest.

Would you still buy the OPO today?

My Nexus 5 is getting worse and worse by the day when it comes to battery life. I have replaced the battery and factory reset but still am struggling. Plus, I'm not overly impressed with the HTC One M9 at this point, but I realize it's not on final software yet either. The Asus Zenfone 2 is also appealing, but who knows when/if it will be released in the US.
So, if you were to buy a phone today, would you still consider the OnePlus One? I know the next variant is expected in the upcoming months but curious what you think. I like the price point, especially for the 64gb of memory, but it looks like camera quality is still hit and miss.
I appreciate your thoughts!
Update: bought one on Swappa and should be getting it on 3/20.
I just ordered mine 64GB version for 299 Eur
Hmm Nexus5 to OnePlusOne maybe last year, but this year when OnePlus Two is near i wouldn't buy OnePlusOne, but if you totally need it buy it. It is smooth and looks so awesome.
I'd still buy it in a heartbeat.

I bought a used one a few weeks ago off of swappa for $330. Came with a case and 2 glass screen protectors. Love it so far, decided to buy another used one for my GF too.

Same here. Replaced my S5 for about the same price, and would do it again in a heartbeat.
Yes!!! I'm loving everything about mine (still a new user).

Just got mine today, loving it. I'd get a one plus two if it was exactly the same as the one in every way, ie 5.5" 1080p (dont need higher), 64gb of storage, great battery life and cheap. Rumours all point to none of this, along with the 810 being a hot chip. Even the M9 is a hot running device.
I have a HTC One m8, but seeing as the M9 is disappointing and I want a new phone so I bought it today, can't wait to get it! If I don't like it, well theres always toy phones to have
Yes. Got mine few days ago. So far, it's great. Now I have both Nexus 5 32gb and OnePlus One 64gb. It's so great in such a small price tag that you won't regret even if the Two comes in few months.
So if u consider to buy a phone today, definitely go for OnePlus 1.

Thanks for all the comments! I just purchased one on Swappa, now to sit and wait.
No, I wouldn't. The missing feature of mhl makes it almost completely useless with my app radio which I used heavily with HTC one m7.

Lol I got mine 2 days ago. And I must say, pros>cons on this phone. I absolutely love it. I don't care about the customer service and that it doesn't work as quick as people would like them to work. For the price of this phone and the specs, you have no right to complain about anything tbh?
I bought one , Broke it . . Tried the OPPO FIND 7.. broke and returned that.. now i just got another ONEPLUS . Love the easy customization and the ONEPLUS ROM Scene is busy..
oneplus one will be brilliant choice!
OnePlus Without second thought.
He had everything you have in Nexus 5 and so MUCH more, plus with this price tag it's a no brainer.
Just bought one a few days ago, coming from a fairly beaten up Galaxy S3 (no screen cracks, just dinged around the edges and crashes a random app once every other week or so) one big reason I switched is that even the new batteries I bought don't seem to last long.
I got the tempered glass screen protector with it and I love that, never going back to plastic.
I was worried if it would seem too big in my pocket - I would say, the S3 is a little more comfortable to have in pocket, but the OPO is OK. I basically wear jeans every day and they're not too tight, otherwise, it could be a problem.
It feels like a good solid quality device and I'm glad it doesn't get hot running Clash of Clans the way my S3 does.
The ghost touches on this thing are driving me crazy, it's going back up on Swappa.
I wouldn't buy a phone with Snapdragon 810 so I'm not looking forward to any of the flagship (and killer) this year.

Can I ask you why?^^

Where to buy the original flip case for Redmi note 3

I have been using this amazing device for almost 1.5 years. I bought a case alongwith the device from Mi.com, it was awesome, but after serving for all this time, it gave out and broke. I wanted to re-buy it. Couldn't find it on Mi.com (they've discontinued it) or any other selling website (all have a collection of cheap rip-offs).
Where can I buy it? Any suggestions will be welcome.
To be honest I usually look on aliexpress, but I've bought 2 completely different cases so far and they never seem to fit my phone. Always too small. Hope you can find something official though because the copies are generally terrible in my experience.
You want to search on aliexpress, but way less is available then some months ago. If you have kate device, add "152" or "pro se" to the keywords and triple check that you choose the right product. I just ordered some and hope that a part of them will fit to my device because I want to use it for a year more at least and with a right case.
The process is the same with tempered glass screen protector.
+1 for the flip cover. Xiaomi does not care for it's old customers. A new model every couple of months and as soon as it releases, it discontinues it's old products and accessories.
