Tails also known as Track as I Listens to Song is another additional to the minimalistic widget family.
It allows you to get the current playing song from the android default music player and display it on the widget.

Using this with neutron player-Note 2 running stock rooted-text metadata updates fine but album art does not, after the first song is played the widget background is black.
So track name updates but not art.

Hi, I have found the cause on why the album art doesn't show up on Tails.
This is because of your "Database" setting in Neutron Player app, use the following setting:
Uncheck: "Capitalize album name"
Check: "Do not split album by disc number."
After applying the setting, close and restart your Neutron Player app, the album art should show up as per normal on Tails. However, there might still be some songs that show empty album art, an update will be released to fix that.

Great Player
Great player, but it does not read or see any of my playlists, can only create playlist on device.

Just installed and it looks nice. Thanks for the counter on the widget, useful feature IMO. I'll try it later.

Does it play cue files and APE?

This Player has a wonderful UI , but it doesn't list .m4a music in the library even though it can play them when selected to open the .m4a files in file managers.

It is because the .m4a extension is not the default extension.
However you can change this by go to setting->library and folder->file extension, then select the .m4a.
After that, you should choose scan music (the top item in the same screen). Now the .m4a will be listed.

Sorry, currently it is not.

I can't find my mp3 files which are on extcard. In settings there is only path mnt/sdcard. But there is no other path to access extcard.

If the application crash you will see a notification "N Music crashed" tap on the notification you will see a dialog click ok to send the report

Loving this app, however, the playlists already on my phone are not shown in this app (they are shown in other music apps). Is there a folder where i can put the .m3u files? Or do i need to add another format. Thanks and keep up the good work!

God job man, my only choice for the music love!
Really like the YouTube search option, makes finding and sharing tunes a breeze!
I have few suggestions though:
Media Scanner to rescan the external SD card so the player can discover the newly downloaded content. The native scanner only scans the card at boot up.
Rotation support, I really dislike when apps don't support landscape orientation. First of all, landscape offers wider view for which comes in handy to see long song names and second, it's rather annoying having to rotate the phone every time when switching between apps that have different rotation support.
Now playing open window options availablity, can you add a favourite button and direct YouTube song search there so switching to the current playlist section is uneeded?
Otherwise this is one of the very best music apps there is and I would love to throw you a little donation, specially if you could implement some of these suggestions! ?

Very good structure, I really like the right slide menu!
When I go to the Artists or the Albums and switch the view with the right bottom button, the small album pictures aspect ratio is not normally, a bit depressed. The lyrics won't work in my case, but only checked a few song with correct id tags.

The app only shows embedded lyrics as of now. It does not have a lyrics downloader. Hope to add this feature soon.
