My device: Samsung Galaxy Nexus LTE (Verizon)
OS: Stock ICS 4.0.2 (NOT rooted)
Google Wallet does not show up under my apps in the Android Market, so I cannot update the app there. Inside the Google Wallet app it states that "Google Wallet is up-to-date" but I am currently stuck with version 1.1-R41v8 while the newest release is 1.1-R48v4.
I originally installed the Google Wallet APK from XDA. Now that Google Wallet has been released on the official Android Marketplace, how do I update my current Wallet?
I just don't want to somehow screw up the "secure" part of Google Wallets integration with my SGN if I download the new version from the Andoid Market. Should I uninstall my previous Google Wallet APK and then install directly from the Andoid Marketplace? What should I do and how do I do it? Thanks!
google play store showing same updates for the apps frequently.Using lollipop version.
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
How do you know that it's the same update? Did you check the version number before and after the updates?
Since May there has been an update to the app via GPS (Google Play Store).
The version is 2.5.1.304 has anyone installed this version or higher via GPS or other means?
If so did you get the new Android build version while on Android B380?
Thanks for any feedback ?

OMG. Do you really know what you are speaking of?
Looks to me that Google Mobile Services ( GMS ) is the package you want to have on your phone.

With regards to GMS see post #2 above.
hey so the problem is there are no old firmwares to y7a here anyone got one?
Thinh here- I have the same problem- is that this Huawei Model, y7a (PPA-LX3), comes with EMUI 10.1.1.203 by default, so Googlefier does not work, as its made for 10.1.0.150 and below, and I cannot downgrade mi mother's phone cause there is not an older firmware. There's not "rolling back". And gspace does not work either. Is there any noob friendly way to get Gapps into this phone?

yes there is no firmware to rollback to. but i've been using the device for several weeks and what i identified is that you don't really need google if you need something like a playstore you can install apkpure app which have every app play store have gpace is not recommended and sometimes it gets pretty laggy on devices also if you need you tube you can set up youtube from quick app center it is like a browser version of youtube but it don't suck

Yeah, in the end I tought she's better off without google, at least privacy-wise, so I just debloated her phone and installed cool alternatives to gapps.
I want to buy a Chinese variant version because there's no global version selling here, but I want to use google services, so I want to flash a euro rom to access all the google services. Just wondering if anyone did this before. Thanks .

Hi. Mine was originally chinese rom. I've changed it to indian rom with google services installed. Just make sure to unlock your bootloader and read the steps carefully before proceeding.
