Usually this is just a matter of unchecking "show drive photos" in the Google photo app settings but this isn't working for me. When I installed the latest android version yesterday the show drive photos was turned on by default, I turned it off but all my drive photos are still showing in the Google Photo app. I tried clearing the cache for Google Photo app, cleared data etc but they continue to show. Is there some sort of hidden setting to stop it from showing my drive photos? I'm about to downgrade to a version that doesn't have this stupid app
Open the photo app. Tap the 3 lines top left. Select 'on device'

I had not used this phone for months 9backup phone), and when I dusted it off and flashed a different ROM, I could not update the over 20 out of date apps on play store (server error). I found a possible fix (market Enabler APP-) but no luck.
I saw a post pop up when i started entering the thread title, but it did not completely cover a fix that I found on a website (SeberTech) that cleared it up. I had treid clearing out Play Store data, but that was not enough. Here is what works if anyone runs into this Note - forced stop and then cleared data):
" Solution:
Follow these steps to fix this problem:
1. On your Galaxy S3 menu, go to Settings, then select Apps, then All, and finally Google Play Store.
2. Under Google Play Store, press the Clear Data option and then Force Stop.
3. Go back to Settings again, and then Apps, then select All, and then locate Google services framework from the sorted list. In case you cannot find Google Services Framework from the sorted list, try to scroll right to the bottom of the list. Sometimes, this item is disabled. If it is disabled, you need to enable it first, so you can proceed to the next step.
4. Under Google Services Framework, clear data and then Force stop.
5. Go back to Settings, then Apps, and then All.
6. From the All menu, locate and select Download Manager and the select Clear Data.
After doing all the aforementioned procedures, turn off your phone for about 60 seconds and then turn it back on. Try to access Google Play Store this time and it should be working fine. "
In my case using current Gmail app (reinstalled) in a stock unrooted Nexus 4 or 2012 Nexus 7 running 5.1 Lollipop, Google Apps account. I've seen others complain of this around the web but no fixes.
Images show as broken icon, and can't be downloaded. Works fine in the Gmail web interface.
Anyone know how to fix?
Am I the only one?
Do you have your settings set to allow images to show?
There may be DATA saving features enabled to prevent images from loading prior to opening the message

Yes, always show images is ticked. Also have data saving mode in Chrome unticked. Restrict background data is NOT selected for Gmail app data usage. Is there anywhere else a data saving feature is set in stock Lollipop?
I updated to MM and now when I record a video and try to play it back back it says "Unable to play video" "File has incorrect data."
And some times when taking pictures, I go to gallery to look it them and the picture is all messed up.
Anyone know of a fix or something.
Thank you.
Tested changing storage to phone storage works.
Hello all,
This started happening on my S7 Edge and continued happening once I switched to Pixel, but every time I disconnect from WiFI I get the error notification "Can't download music No WiFi connection". As far as I know all of my downloads have been completed and this happens *every* time I disconnect from WiFi. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: The only troubleshooting I've done is clearing the play music cache.
I saw this answer from Google as I was having a similar problem. Seems to be working the last few hours.

Refresh your library. To do so, follow these easy steps:
Open the Google Play Music app .
Touch the menu icon Google Play Music Menu icon.
Make sure the downloaded only switch is off. The switch is gray when it's off.
Touch settings > refresh.
Wait two minutes, and view your library again.
Clear cache for Google Play Music app (Go to settings > apps or application manager > Google Play Music > clear cache > ok).
Check for updates for the Google Play Music app.
Check sync settings. Here's how:
Open the settings app on your device.
Touch accounts > Google.
Touch the account you use with Google Play Music.
Make sure the checkbox next to Google Play Music is checked.
Restart your device.
Seems to have worked for now! Thanks! I'll update if it returns or if I find a separate solution.

Hi,
I recently got a new phone (Xiaomi mi 11 lite) and all of a sudden Google search by image/search by google lens is missing from the context menu which pops up if you keep pressing a random picture on the internet. The only options I do get is open in new tab, download, share and look at image. That's just it. No reverse image search option at all..
I do have the lens app installed correctly on my phone and I already tried rebooting my phone, reinstalling the Chrome app, checked the settings in chrome://flags, removed the cache etc. But so far no luck...
Does anyone know what to do or how to fix this? It's super annoying because I used this function quite a lot
