Samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 4.4.4 omnirom root permission - Galaxy Tab 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

This is related to omni ROM. I just flashed omnirom 4.4.4 KitKat from 4.1.2 jb before this. So when I flashed it the root permission isn't there anymore. I don't know how to root in 4.4.4 omnirom and I'm suspicious if other ways that people posted didn't work so I decided to post a thread here. Hope you guys can help me.

Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum.

OmniRom just don't have root included in their roms as CM, for root just flash SuperSU zip from Chainfire in recovery
[STABLE][2014.12.16] SuperSU v2.40

Please turn on the Developer options by taping the build number for several times in about tablet.
Then you would find the Root access in developer option .

so i just got my cm11 recently and it's doing great for my device. you should try and give your feedback for this release! now i would like to ask about rooting this ROM. is it possible to do so? because i found that this ROM is not pre-rooted. i usually use superuserSU to handle rooting, but now it's not working anymore because the android version from cm11 is 4.4.2 and superSU is not compatible with this version. thanks before

[Completed] [Q] Help needed with installation of cyanogenmod 11 on Xperia M C1904.

Hi. I am using Xperia M C1904. I was looking for a method to root my phone and found that it's hard to root it when it's on android 4.3. So, I downgraded it to 4.1.2(stock) and then rooted it. After that I unlocked the bootloader and flashed the 4.1.2 custom firmware again which has removed the root access. So currently I have a 4.1.2 unrooted xperia M with unlocked bootloader and custom recovery is not yet installed, and I wan't to upgrade to Cyanogenmod 11. I saw at many places that cm11 only supports android 4.3. So could you please guide me on what I should do now? I mean, do I need to root again for installing CWM recovery and then Cyanogenmod 11, should I upgrade to 4.3 and root again? (but is it possible to get full root on 4.3?) and then is there any specific version of CWM that I should install?
Thanks in advance.

Greetings and welcome to assist. If you are running a custom rom then you must have a custom recovery so you can just flash the latest su zip from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/v2-64-2-66-supersu-mode-t3286120
I would however use a root checking app first as most aosp roms have root incorperated into the system in privacy guard
