Disable any syncing you don't need under your google account.
I completely disabled the following as I don't use them:
Drive
Gmail
Google Play Books
Google Play Games
Google Play Magazines
Google Play Movies & TV
Hangouts (replaced it with 8SMS)
Keep
News & Weather
I wanted to share my list of disabled bloatware (Disabling wont remove the app). This is done from Settings - Apps - All -click the app you want to disable, uncheck Show notifications, then simply hit Disable and done! If Info-Eye still keeps haunting in the Update Center, or any other bloatware. Those update notifications can be turned off! To-do this open Update Center, click those three dots you see in upper right corner(aka settings), manage updates and then click the apps name, that you don't wanna get updates anymore.
Account Manager
AR effect
Chrome
Cloud Print
Drive
Email
Exchange Services
File Commander (replaced with OI File Manager)
Gmail
Google Lyrics extension
Google Play Books
Google Play Games
Google Play Movies & TV
Google Play Music
Google Play Newsstand
Google Search
Google Text-to-speech Engine
Google+
Hangouts
Info-Eye
Movie Creator
News&Weather
Playstation Mobile
Podcast
Print Spooler
SensMe slideshow
Sketch
Social Live
Socialife
Sony Select
Support
Talkback
Timeshift Burst
Weather Widget
Xperia Music Likes
Xperia Share
Xperia Social Engine Photos
Xperia Social Engine Photos(this one is with fb-image)
Xperia Social Engine Sharing (Twitter)
Xperia Social Engine Sharing(FB)
Xperia Lounge
Xperia with Facebook
Xperia with Twitter
Why would you consider calendar and contacts sync services bloatware? No,this is not an accurate list...
Not sent by me.
Whoops! That was mistake, by me! Accidentally listed em as bloatware! Now it's corrected. Thanks for pointing it out!

Since 2 days i am getting this error, "Google Play services, which some of your applications rely on, is not supported by your device". Google play music, when i try to play the music it doesn't work, i found a work around open the google play store and then play the music it works, anyone else facing similar issue.
version : Google Play services 7.5.74 (1997312-438)
anything to do with the Greenify app, because i have opted to forcefully greenify google play service, when i manually open the google play store in the background it open the play service and music can be played.

Yes. Do not greenigy Play services, since a lot of apps rely them on. Use Privacy Guard do disable the features you do not want.

Seems obvious to me, don't Greenify apps like that. It's like Greenify-ing the phone app and then wondering why you're not receiving any calls.
I rooted my Galaxy Tab E (T377T) and uninstalled some Google apps: Google hangouts, Google plus, Google music, Google videos. Now I am unable to make in-app purchases in games. I've tried reinstalling Google Hangouts and Google plus, and I've tried disabling and re-enabling Google Play Services, but neither worked. Any other ideas of how to resolve this? Thanks!
My Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 (J320FN) has Google Play Services installed and not installed at the same time. What I mean is that when I click on Hangouts I get this message, "Hangouts won't run without Google Play Services, which are missing from your phone." I also can't find it my application manager yet when I try to install the apk, it says no new permissions for this update meaning that it is already installed. When I go on the Google Play Store Website on my computer, it says that Google Play Services is already installed. You should know that all google apps won't open apart from Chrome. Also when I click on Google Play Movies & TV it says, "Google Play Movies & TV won't run without Google Play services, which are currently updating." So Hangouts says it is not there whilst Google Play Movies & TV says it is there but just updating. My phone is rooted. I don't know if this helps but when I shut down my phone and switch it back on certain apps reinstall but they are already there. It is as if my phone gets restored to a previous time. My phone takes over a minute to switch on and when it does it says optimising 4 of 4 android apps and then starting android apps. Thanks
UPDATE: Google Play Movies & TV is now saying the same as Hangouts saying that it is not installed. I've tried installing Google Play Services apk but it fails each time.
Hi !
From settings / applications go to google play services , force stop , delete cache and data and uninstall the updates , reboot the phone
Good luck !
