[Q] When is Notesmartly going to launch on Android ? - Android Apps and Games

Hi friends,
I have been using this cool app on my iPad and iPhone .Ever since then I am so looking forward to get it on my Android phone .
Their website had a pre-signup for Web,Mac, iPhone ,iPad and Android couple of months ago. But now they have removed most of them with their respective app store links. For a sec I was grinning ear to ear as I thought they are now live across all platforms. But Alas! they have launched on every platform except for the Android and Windows platform.
Have you signed up for their Android release or any release for that matter ?
When is it going to release on Android?
DO let me know
PS: the website is www dot notesmartly dot com
Regard
Adri Wilburn

[Q] Tizen future?

Hi everyone,
I was just curious to see if anyone thinks Tizen will make it as a mobile OS?
Between iOS, Android and now Windows Phone the market is crowded. All of these platforms have so much invested. Tizen, Boot to Gecko, Blackberry 10 (QNX OS) and the revamped, open sourced version of WebOS are all fighting to populate their platforms but is it a lost fight?
Is there any hope for these and other Mobile OS' to make an impact?
Can iOS, Android and Windows Phone hold their ground?

P.S. -------> Android is #1

There may never be an Android 5.0,

Hi guys just sharing an opinion piece I wrote about the future of Android.
My current theory is that eventually Android could be replaced by Chrome OS, or merged and it could happen as soon as the next major update (5.0)
My article is here and I just wanted to get some input from you guys: my fellow Android Enthusiasts,

The Thread.. Use It!?
Nice piece... And that first picture inspires me to make a Chrome Launcher/Chrome OS Theme.
Also, I think android should just natively support web apps that use HTML5 or Unity or whatever the Chrome Browser supports naively as if they were android apps except the big upgrade/catch is that it runs it natively like an app without an internet connection. So maybe android will just become the chrome browser but also runs android apps (which Google will call something else so that they aren't hanging on to the android name anymore and people will no longer call it android).
I also don't understand anything HTML or Java so maybe impossible

Android MAY be MERGED with Chrome OS... but it will NEVER be REPLACED by it.
Chrome OS is based on the cloud, and our phones not allways have an internet connection.
Nope it will not be Chrome OS. Things will get merged eventually but Android will remain:good:

Guide: Get Windows Phone 8 GDR3 on your T-Mobile 8X Now

It looks like our 8X brothers Verizon and AT&T as well as internationally have already received the GRD3 update but T-Mobile has left us in the dark. I did some searching online and was surprised to find that there IS a way you can install GDR3 now on your 8X without any sort of hacking or paying to join a Developer program.
Apparently Microsoft opened up something called App Studio for the public that allows enthusiasts to preview the latest M$ update. If you register for the program (took me about 3 clicks and two minutes or less) you can click “OS Preview for Developers” in the App store control center and it will push a Windows Phone Preview for Developers xap file to your device through the marketplace. Here you can enable OS Preview updates and download the update directly to your phone just like any other OTA.
Enjoy, and thank me if this helped!

Should google stop working on further android versions higher than android p?

Ever since the release of android, there's a boost in the requirements of people and the development is also upto the mark. ever year google is releasing its new api level of android. Now,the time came for us to discuss about the furthur api. Should google stop working on releasing a new api level greater than android p? Even Microsoft had stopped at windows 10 and started making windows 10 as most secure rather than working on new os like windows 11 or something....
Should google also start working on security and performance issues rather than working on a new api level amdroid?
Let me know. Thanks to the developers in advance

Windows is still doing feature updates, just stop the name game, and charging for major updates.

After releasing an android api, within less than a year, new api level is being introduced and people just go behind the latest android version, leaving their existing device (even if the device is a flag ship) just only for the one reason...."latest android" ?

Issue is with manufacturers not wanting to implement updates.
Google is trying to mitigate that with treble, bypassing the manufacturers and updating the devices directly.

Anyone here ever hear of nemomobile opensource Mer-based Linux Mobile Operating System

Found this while looking for something else and seemed pretty interesting wondering why we dont hear more about this seeing as it is open source?
NemoMobile
This is the team site for the Nemo Mobile user experience, including documentation to latest software and components
nemomobile.net
Background info long time ago nokia developed a new os together with intel to compete with ios and android. They called it meego later nokia brought out a phone with this os called nokia n9 running meego.
By that time microsoft was running the busnins and bore this phone and os in the ground they made it open source and that gave rise to forexample sailfish and this nemomobile os.
