Sent from my BlakKat CM11 powered OnePlus One "BACON"

This is just what I needed.
And another of great work

Good job! It looks really good :good:

Finally. Simply awesome

Can any body upload the app to Attachments please

Thanks for the app

Upload kernel, vendor and device tree.
Nice im going to try this app. I normall see guide that tell the basic stuff. Those guides and in how easy it is to upload the device tree files to master on github. And they tell how to add ore remove some files I get that.!
I have a device tree in master that is cm9. I want to upload a nother device tree to cm 10.2 and 11 using the terminal.
Here is my github: https://github.com/Frank77GLD/android_device_YG_m805_892x
For now i used a option in github to copy the cm9 project files to the cm10.2 github tree. I did have to change most files in cm10.2
My cm11 device tree is still empty. What should be the right way to upload my cm11 project files to the cm11 device tree?
This year i made a github with kernel files. 1 with vendor files and a device tree. I did have the problem that files got uploaded in the wrong device tree. Vendor files went in the kernel tree and the kernel files wint in like the devie tree. How to logon to the right device tree ore log out ore use the right command in my terminal? Im a bit scared when i upload files that they will go in the wrong device tree. I hope you're app can help out.

Can any one please attach the app because i can't download it From play stre

Thanks for this! Just in time for my in-laws' Christmas party. Something to read and learn while everyone else has fun. This is something that I have looking for.

Just to let you know you guys. This app has been featured on xda headlines.

How do you do that? So many roms, after all, takes time to build and everything ....
I am impressed Well done and good luck in further
I love the device and I love playing around with the sources and solving problems .
But to be honest for this rom it was quite easy, there base sources are super and I didn't have much to add or to port, almost just build . So have fun with the rom :highfive::good:
OMG OMG! I always wanted to have PA on my I9305! Thank you so much rodman!

Jesus Christ, I'm impressed. I'll test that one later - need to charge the phone first.
Just wondering why those other two who tried to build a PA ROM couldn't get theirs to work and now you're here giving us ROM for ROM. I wish how to build ROMs lol
Thx for the hard work and time you're spending for our device.
You are all welcome and enjoy the rom!! But don't forget the others :highfive:

Hello rodman, thank's for all you do,i'll try it .......

Good work as usual you are really a very good developer.
Have you ever tried to build for our device blisspop I really would love to have ?.
A big thank you to you for your good work :good::good::good:
not yet, but give me the link to your sources, then I will probably try it, when my build pc is free .
PS: thanks for the flowers, I really appreciate it, but I am no dev, I am a maintainer and porter. I have a certain knowledge or idea how android is working, but to be a dev, there is more needed. But again and anyways: thanks

no need for this, winxuser is doing a good job with his version and as far as I know the possibilities that there will be an official cm version for our device are very low at the moment.

The original CAF kernel source code is downloadable HERE
Common drivers are located at gionee/alps_drv
IUNI U3 specific drivers are located at gionee/project/NBL8910A
IUNI U3 Mini specific drivers are located at gionee/project/NBL8905A
The repo use a special script to compile Android with specific "GN_FLAGS" who're located into the gn_project folder, those flags are added on-the-fly and are not integrated into the kernel.

How it looks:
Nice work, might have a play with this over the weekend, although my skills are pretty limited.
Hi! Any news? seems that there no new step forward
Hi, anyone here who want to sell his IUNI U3?
I like it very much but left sim Slot for 4G is not
working and no one can repair.
Hello. That there on the kernel?
I thought the release of the code source would boost developers but it seems nobody wants to work on the U3 anymore, too bad
Hi,
Sorry for not giving any news for a long time, I sorely missed free time.
The kernel is now 100% functional on Android N. There are still some small issues and optimisations to fixes before everything is perfect.
It remains to complete the device tree and blobs to be finally ready.
The project was able to move forward with the help and support of several developers who generously gave their time to help and answer questions:
- @Sultanxda : The kernel is entirely based on his work, and moreover he helped me with all questions and technical problems.
- @feroxxx : It is thanks to him that LineageOS 14.1 is almost fully working on IUNI U3
- @nathanchance : Thanks to his documentation and availability to answer to the questions on the forum he has expanded my knowledge and awareness of security.
- @jerpelea and @GalaticStryder : They helped me to understand some technical and theoretical aspects of the kernel.
And of course also to all those who contributed to all these open-source projects without whom this project would never have emerged.
Thanks, thanks and thanks and thanks again!!!!!

I'll have to update the thread with more details and more regularly, like a log. The goal is to highlight the path used in the development of the kernel. The mistakes made, by which means they were solved.
The intention is to provide answers to questions that a person might ask if he wants to undertake a similar project.
When starting a project for the first time, there is often this famous stage of vast questioning and gray area. With a large amount of documentations, wondering where to start, where to go. Reading the practical experience of others could be a shortcut in the learning journey and have an idea where to start and where to go.
Soon there will be a key to the surprise that IUNI was talking about.)))

Ok the kernel source code for LOS 15.1 is available here: https://github.com/Abdess/android_kernel_iuni_msm8974/tree/lineage-15.1
There's a weird issue, everythings looks to works fine (adb, storage, brightness)... into the log... However the display doesn't works but it's acting like working.
It looks like I've to check the MDSS drivers and device tree.
Hi @Abdess76, I just tried building Lineage 14.1 off your sources. It built OK but it doesn't boot . It appears ADB isn't running despite building with user-debug and I can't seem to find any logs in /proc/last_kmesg. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?
Thank you for adding me to contributors, but how do you find my id in xda?Besides,How is the kernel going?

Hi, i give you this Kernel, it's the BEST for AOSP and MIUI ROMs, i have more than 10 hours of 4G SOT and much more things than STOCK,
It's from AICP ROM, the original Kernel.
For flash It, reboot twrp, install, then "Select Zip or image" flash the image by selecting "BOOT" and flash and reboot and you are done.
MOD EDIT: download link removed
Donante now, PayPal: [email protected]
Crédits for Ice Cold developers
And for Xiaomi for the Kernel Sources
Thanks i'll try this. Will report later
It's many light years away from "Immensity" Kernel and all of that, Quax and others, so, it's better, if you want MORE then flash this Kernel. And if you want, donate me, etc.
downloading...
Its for raphael devices right?
So you just extracted boot.img from aicp and posting it here without the original author's permission ? Lmao

You could have posted boot.img in aicp thread and told everyone to use it but instead u posted it in your own thread with donation links where even the original author hasn't posted any.. if you even had taken a look at the original devs work on git and u would see that its not just xiaomi's kernel ..
people should donate to you for taking the boot.img of aicp, opening a thread and telling people to download it because its the best ever in the history of the world? are you for real?

what makes this 'lightyears' away? You haven't done a single thing just take boot.img given it a fancy name and asking for donations. You can't be serious you have got to be troll.
I'm not supposed to give my opinion but this is embarrassing.
According to section 3 of the GPLv2 License, if you're sharing an unmodified work, you can forward the offer to distribute source code that you yourself received along with the binary you're using. But you didn't even mention where is the actual source code explicitly.
Kernel source that used by AICP is based on CAF forks with bunch of backports and upstreams from other sources like linux stable and google common's kernel, and Xiaomi is just one of them.
And last but not least, even though GPLv2 has no restriction in product name, doesn't mean taking someone's else work and redistribute it as other name is not a wrong thing to do (and you're asking for a donation too just for that ? smh).
So, that's AICP's kernel and we can use for stock MIUI rom (include Stable and Beta) ?
FP working?
@engloa
please close this thread
OP telling users to flash a " BOOT.img " which was extracted from some compiled rom.
literally copy paste LOL .
also clickbait title ( could distract new users )
Thread closed, posting others work without permission

Yeah, just (in the source location):
Code:
cd vendor/
git clone https://github.com/TheMuppets/proprietary_vendor_oneplus.git -b lineage-18.1 oneplus
Then you should be good to go.
Make sure these exist too:
kernel/oneplus/sm8250
hardware/oneplus
Alright if I success building lineage tomorrow, should I try to port another custom ROM? And if yes do I need to download any other files other than the source cuz I believe everything is pre installed for the OnePlus 8t on the lineage os 8T build guide.

Yes of course you can try building other ROMs. Lineage is already built for the 8T, but is a good place to start. You will need to download the source of each ROM you want to build. However, Lineage has all of the needed files to be downloaded for the 8T. For other ROMs, you will need to edit some files in the device trees and possibly make your own.
Do u know if there's a guide or examples to editing files like that or making my own?

That looks like youre building lineage still right? Also, A12 will be a little more difficult to build and may need a more extensive guide..
And more code is needed to figure out the error

Hello, after a long time, I have decided to try porting a rom again, I am trying to port an Android 12L rom, but I've come upon an error when I am about to compile the rom
Code:
"Brunch Kebab"
and I get "No config file found for Target Device Kebab (I have already cloned vendor, device tree and kernel files for 12L) I have been trying to fix this error for around an hour or 2 now. I would appreciate if you helped me
