But this is 6572 dualcore

I know but I think we can take cam libs from these two ROMs and checkout in our ROM for solving cam issue(I am only trying to help Devs)

Hi can anyone help me with flashing the stock Rom on A76. How do I flash it?? Can I flash it via flashtool?? If so can anyone help me with a scatter file for A76 coz the scatter file I did via mtkdroid tools isn't loading in flashtool( tells me to check if its legal or not...again not sure if it is because my phone is rooted) or I can use CWM to install it.

porting is not simple. also the chipset version is not same and a lot of differences are there. It is not worth the effort.
I am an amateur, let me try this. U want galaxy grand 4.2.2 to be ported to ur a76, right? and ur a76 has jb 4.2.2? and, do u have custom recovery and any custom rom?

Hey all devs.
I had ported amoi n820 (4.2.2) and legoice canvas 4(4.2.1) to our canvas music.
Both the rom has single bug left, the camera.
1.fromt cam not working
2.back working with pink tint
3.autofocus not working
I have seen to fix these bugs, canvas 2 got a custom kernel. I don't know how to compile even though i got ubuntu and source with me.
I am posting some informative threads, any dev interested in making 4.2.x bugless for canvas music by making a custom kernel can pm me also.

I am the only dev for mt6577 iball andi 4.5h community... however we have more than 1000 users....
We also have got JB 4,2,2 ported... and we are living with front camera bug....
So we need custom kernel too.... i have very limited knowledge on linux which i used to use in my college days...
but no the basics and commands... so i am starting 3.4 custom kernel development based on wiko king source......
I hope we can start our work together for our own own devices.... and discuss the problems and solutions....

That would be great.
I got ubuntu and the source, but i think i should also have toolchain and sdk to compile and debug.
I don't understand if the source is of mt6577 then why the compiled kernel don't work on other mt6577.
I will download toolchain and sdk in few days.

I forgot to make backup when doing data repartition of my memory. Now the phone is bricked, though recovery still works but i cant install any other ROM from it. Tried stock and lewa. Help pls.

i have confugured my PC with Ubuntu 10.04 and also the required softwares... i have downloaded the toolchain also... got the cink king source... problem is ... we need the configure the source based on my phone specs ... but there is no tut or guide on that in net... i mean i didn't find any... and without that if i start compiling... it will be made for wiko king...

I don't have much data left so tool chain and all will be downloaded after 24th for me.
I have talked to the person who had developed kernel for canvas 2 and i think he will help us.

Alright. I will help you where ever you stuck. The changes initially behave to be made to config file that is under /mediate/config/mt65xx/autoconfig/kconfig. The name of the file is 'platform' and xx has to be replaced by your SoC build.
Rest try to modify and compile first without touching anything and that should be always your initial step. After then do some necessary modifications elsewhere in kernel files.

same issue wth my phone too .. though 1000s of users for lava iris 455 but still no developers except me.. i ported the jb 4.2.2 rom ...it booted but camera ddnt work...modified the kernal and cametq files and den camera was wrking fyn...but with pink tilt issue... i too have to work for my kernals issue ...

Any news on the kernel development?

JB 4.3 for Micromax A110

We all know that the awesome hardworking devs at xda have already ported jb 4.2.2 rom to our device and it is virtually bugless now.
I have created this thread to discuss the development of jb 4.3 rom for mmx a110. As u may already know, mmx will soon release jb 4.3 update for its latest devices like canvas hd, 4, canvas 2 plus, etc, but it is doubtful if ever they will release 4.3 for mmx a110 becoz till now 4.2 itself has not come to our device.
Is it possible that we can port it from these phones? Though all these are q-cores.
Devs plz reply here.

i may not be much of an expert but after having seen the hard work and perseverance of our Canvas 2 devs.. i think that they will be able to do it too!
@sagarwep bro has already ported the Canvas 4 ROM for our phone.. so at least this is sure that quad core ROM's can be ported..
the next big question is.. will they be able to make it bugless?

It will be easy fr dem if some mtk6577 device gets an update

hey guys wait untill any mediatek 6577 devices provider release update jb 4.3 their devices...after get updates it is possible to get jb 4.3 for mmx a110 device either...stay tune and wait for updates!

Calm down guys.This is fourth official Kitkat to mediatek.First was lenevo,second elephone and third was zoppo.But we were unable to port any of these.Why?I dont know.....the only reason i see that there is lack of modules folder under lib directory which helps rom to boot.When the firmware of Mmx a106 will be available then i will surely check.

The V3 rom is not custom... it is stock rom... i personally prefer V1 but it's up to you which one to use... V3 doesnt have bugs (minor ones maybe) and can flashed for daily use

Kitkat is available only for mt6592... Others have to wait...

Hi. I tried many roms but cant exactly judge which is perfect.... every time I revert back to PURE XPERIA Final but still it has some backlog..... color OS is good but no battery backup.... right now MIUI6 is feeling good but still tell me which is best & stable ROM with battery backup

Pure xperia z2 is most stable rom other than that color os v1.2 is also stable and battery backup is also gudd

You can use my rom Lollipop Experience It is stable and bugs same as cm11 and you can feel the lollipop 5.0!!!

download turbozet rom for canvas 2 or canvas 2 plus a110q best stable rom you will find which is stock rom of canvas turbo,by the name of turbo we can tell its superfast and it ends up saving about 200mb ram on canvas 2 and about 500 on canvas 2 plus a110q!
